The Fives Beach All Senses Inclusive

The Fives is a beautiful resort. The Villa's in particular (buildings 1-6) are modern, clean, quiet and comfortable and closest to the beach. The resturants are spectacular. The food was the best I've had at an all inclusive. The Italian place, Arezzo, stood out, but we had great food at all of them. The service on the beach was outstanding and the beach food wa good. The waiters were fast, polite and really seemed to enjoy the kids at the restuarants. The beach dinner/party on Friday night is worth going too and the evening performers all week were good. There are a lot of bali beds (at 3000 MX a day) and my only complaint is that they are in front of all of the beach chairs. There are rocks before you hit the ocean, but there are a bunch of great pools if you don't want to manage them. The tour to Tulum, the Cenotes and Swimming with the Sea Turtles is worth the money. We'd go back with couples again. If you're kids like the sand, and running into the water - this isn't the place for you. But if they are happy in the pool, then it's a win.

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are well kept. I was there to relax while my teenagers ran amok. They were well entertained by the basketball court, gym and pool. I had no trouble finding somewhere to sit and relax with a drink. Win/Win. We had the basic room with 2 double beds. I agree with some people that the bathroom area is strange. We had to call out when we were changing or going to shower because there was no door. Might not be a problem for couples, but teenage boys dont want to take any chances with nudity. The room itself was kept clean and well stocked. Any staff i spoke with was pleasant and smiling. The downfall for me was the beach. I dont like swimming in the ocean but I do like walking on the sand. I found it too rocky for barefeet. After stubbed and bleeding toes I gave up and put on shoes.

Beautiful resort with the best service! We had an amazing 1 week vacation with 2 teens (13, 16). This was the only resort I could find that kids under 17 stay free! We took a gamble based on that huge savings and The Fives didn’t disappoint! The beach is a bit rocky for those who prefer to swim in the ocean. We relaxed on the beach and occasionally swam in the ocean but spent most of our time in the pool. It was a bit annoying that you had to pay $150 USD for a Bali bed at the pool but we were always able to get 4 lounge chairs together at the beach or the pool even though we would sleep late and take our time getting there. If you wanted prime spots you had to be early. I liked that they didn’t allow people to hold their spot with towels if they weren’t actually there. They seemed to enforce this rule better than I have seen at other resorts. Highlight of the trip was the Friday night Fiesta. Make sure you book your dates so you don’t miss it. It was better than any Fiesta or Luau that I have seen.

Gregorio, Carlos, and Rangel at the 1910 Cantina bar are the absolute best!!!! Five stars!! Hands down best drinks and best atmosphere!!
