Did two activities with Alan while staying at TRS. Yoga was very tranquil and relaxing while sushi making was fun alongside chef Soto. The activities are a must do!

Our stay at TRS Coral was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything felt polished, welcoming, and incredibly well maintained. The entire resort is spotless—not just the rooms, but the whole property. Even the beach is meticulously cleaned and beautifully kept, which made every morning walk and swim that much more enjoyable. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every restaurant delivered high-quality dishes with great variety, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into both preparation and presentation. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we were consistently impressed. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly simpatico—warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Service felt genuine and attentive without ever being overbearing. A few team members deserve special recognition: • At Helios/Caprichio, Victorino (Victor) provided outstanding service and made us feel right at home. • At La Bohème, Andres and Ivan were fantastic, and Manuel went above and beyond—truly exceptional. • The tequila tasting experience was a standout thanks to Guillermo, Alexander, and Mariela, who made it both fun and informative. • At El Gaucho, Armando delivered excellent service and added to a memorable dining experience. Overall, TRS Coral exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the pristine environment, incredible food, and exceptional staff, it’s a place we would absolutely return to and highly recommend.

Would definitely recommend this resort - the positives far outweighed the few negatives, and it is overall one of the best resorts we have been to. Check in/out: We arrived early (8:30am) and service was very prompt. We were immediately brought a welcome drink and hand towels. We were also given white TRS ball caps. We were able to change in the courtesy rooms in the lobby and leave our suitcases. We went to breakfast and hung out by the pool until 3:00pm when they said our room would be ready. We went back to the lobby and were taken right to our rooms. A letter with our balance owing was delivered to our room the day before we left and we were invited to stop by the lobby and pay it at any time for an “express” check out the following day. This was a nice touch. Check out was very smooth. Our transfer was late arriving and the bell boys made sure to help us out and called over to the family side to have someone come pick us up. Room/Grounds: We had a junior suite garden view - we don't spend a lot of time in our room and don’t like to pay extra for it. We were in building 1 facing the inside of the resort and we were able to see the ocean - a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are large and the layout is great - it’s a nice open concept with the bathroom area still being separated. The room was clean, drinks and snacks were plentiful. We requested extra water bottles and it was hit or miss. We did not realize that there are bottle filling stations with potable water, so I highly recommend taking one or two water bottles! One negative here (and this may be personal preference) but we both found the mattress and pillows to be extremely uncomfortable. We requested more pillows to try to address this, and they were delivered promptly, but unfortunately were not much better than those that were already in the room. We found the resort grounds to be well maintained and very clean. We noticed they took care in cleaning the pool area very well at night. The landscaping is very well done here, a nice mix of trees without being completely covered. The TRS layout is easy to navigate. Pool: The pool was great. The in-water loungers were readily available and a really nice addition to the regular loungers outside of the pool. There was a mix of single lounger chairs and bali bed style. Umbrellas were plentiful - some can be moved, some are attached to “tables” between two beds. Pool side loungers were always available, even on days when we went down to the pool later around 11:00am. Pool side service was excellent, it was very easy to order both drinks and food. It’s mostly low-key, relaxing music that is played, and in the afternoons there would be some type of DJ or musical performance. I did the water aerobics and pool biking class and enjoyed both. Beach: The beach here is outstanding. Plenty of chairs to choose from at any point in the day! Sargassum was minimal, and was regularly cleaned via tractor. Beach service was also excellent, and it was easy to get drinks on a regular basis. The sand is powder soft and the beach is very swimmable - no rocky shoreline! Food/drinks: We really enjoyed the food. We alternated breakfasts between Helios and Capricho. We love to be able to order our breakfasts, so it was a really nice touch that Capricho offers both a buffet and a menu. The musical performances at Capricho are a really nice touch. Lunch we usually had by the pool, and it was easy to order guacamole and chips (not offered on the menu). A few days we went over to the family side to the pizza stop and the pizza there was awesome. For dinner, standout restaurants were La Boheme and Tentazione. La Adelita on the family side cannot be missed and we ate there twice. El Gaucho was a let down. The steaks I had at both La Boheme and La Adelita were far superior. I have food allergies and the resort as a whole did an outstanding job ensuring my food was safe. My allergy was logged in their system and showed up at the hostess stand every time we showed up for dinner. Servers were concerned and careful, and a few times they brought out a chef to clarify things with me. Overall, we found the food to be above average for an all-inclusive. Drinks were always well made and premium liquor was always available when requested. The house wine at the restaurants is surprisingly good! Entertainment: Nighttime is quiet here. We often went over to the family side to check out a show at the theatre. Bingo (additional cost) on the family side was a lot of fun. The magic show on the TRS side was incredible. During the day there’s lots to choose from on the TRS side. Some activities require reservations so make them right away with your butler - we missed out on the chocolate tasting class because it was already full when we tried to make a reservation the day before. We did the bracelet class, the hat painting class, the canvas painting class, and the guacamole class. All were fantastic. One negative is that the yoga/stretching classes are under the pergola at 10:00am. It is already very hot at this time. A morning yoga/stretching class (maybe on the beach!) would really elevate these offerings. Nice extras: Chocolate wall in the lobby! Chip “ferris wheel” in the lobby! Full access to family side as desired. Communication with butlers was easy. Negatives: -No gym on the TRS side. When we went over to the family side the gym was *packed* and there were some younger people/kids there. I think this is a major detractor for an adults only side to not have a dedicated gym. -As mentioned above, found the mattress and pillows to be extremely uncomfortable. -Some may find the quieter atmosphere a negative (we did not) but something to be aware of when booking. Stand out mentions: I want to make sure the following people are recognized for their outstanding service -Alan and Leonardo on the POP team. Their bracelet class was great, and we had fun playing beach volleyball with them. -Dante and Chef Soto for the guacamole class. It was a great mix of information and entertainment, we learned a lot and made delicious guacamole. -Rodolfo, Mario, and Brandon (Manager) at La Adelita. We ate here twice during our trip and the drinks, food, and service were incredible. Brandon mentioned they have a new menu, and gave us some great information on Mexican history and traditions while we ate our dessert. -Andres and Ivan (Manager) at La Boheme. Andres was the best server we had during our entire trip. The food at La Boheme was fantastic and we made this a repeat restaurant, too. The filet in particular was outstanding. -Cesar at Helios. Great server, very efficient and taught us some Mexican phrases. -Ricardo at the TRS pool bar. Drinks were fantastic, consistently delicious and well made. -Johanna (server at the pool bar). Friendly, kind and offered great service. -Citlali was a great butler, always making sure everything was as needed and making sure we were taken care of.
