TRS Coral Hotel

I just want to start out saying this was hands down one of our best vacations at TRS. The beach was clean and beautiful and the water toasty warm. We had an ocean view poolside room on the 4th floor that had a gorgeous view of the ocean. We could look out on the ocean right from our bed! The room was a quick elevator away from the pool. Housekeeping and turndown service was outstanding, the fridge always full. The pool was fun, there was entertainment that was good and the aqua exercise class was so fun. Also Rubin and ream were great for aqua cycle class. It wasn’t crowded when we were there 5/30-6/6 so we always sat in the same loungers in the PTC section. Our pool server Ulises was very attentive and always smiling and happy. He took great care of us all week. We went to a salsa making class that was good but I don’t remember names, sorry. Pool bartenders were attentive and made good drinks. My favorite restaurants were the French and Italian. Antonio at the Italian was a great waiter, he made us table side tiramisu that was delicious. All the selections we got were good. The French was also so good, ate there twice. I can’t remember our waiters name but made us table side crepes Suzette. Not on the menu, you need to ask for it. We had lunch at Helios that was very good and also Poseidon by the beach. They had the best sushi ! Unfortunately we had to eat at the buffet twice due to us running late, and did not really like it to much, Entertainment was ok, on the quiet side really but after a full day in the sun we were tired. We did go to the roof bar on the first night and did some dancing, and they had a rock band at the Aqua bar one night that was good. We did not go to Chic as we have been already so passed. The silent party was fun. The travel club and transportation were great. We did a couples massage and hydrotherapy on a cloudy day and checked out the gym for a little while, all were great. Couldn’t beat the value of this vacation as I had got 65% off on a promotion. All in all it was a fabulous stay and was sad to go home!

Visited for a wedding and found ourselves in paradise. Super clean resort with all the amenities, no need to leave the resort grounds

We had a special vacation the staff went out of there was to make this enjoyable and always looking to do more than for us . We would go back in a heart beat and wish we were still there at this moment .

Location is great! Right on the ocean and the water is incredible. Lots of beach chairs and places to put your stuff down while you’re out there. Atmosphere: the main pool is stunning! So beautiful and where we spent the majority of our time. The cushions around the pool are a mixture of dirty/stained and some clean ones. Towels are always available though to help cover the stained cushions. The pool bar drinks are average at best. All well liquor, premade mixes for every type of cocktail, and they used plastic wrap to cover the tops of their tequila bottles. Very friendly staff. The food is average. Some dishes we had, specifically at Helios, were delicious! Rooms: awesome! We booked the garden suite and it was perfect. Building 2 is a great location to get to the main pool and lots of different restaurants. Victor was the BEST butler/staff member at the entire resort. He was friendly, helpful and we really enjoyed working with him. Value: overall, it was an average resort. Some pros and some cons. We liked some of the food and some of the activities. We lost internet for the majority of one morning so we couldn’t access the app at all to see what the days activities were. Frustrating since you are forced to utilize the internet for booking everything through your butler. The elevator in our building also broke down for 1.5 days until it was fixed. Not a huge deal, as there isn’t that many floors in each building. Just an inconvenience.

The worst resort experience I’ve ever experience. The food is so subpar that I wish I changed resorts after arriving, but we were here for a wedding. I’ll say that everything appears decent, but upon consumption and a closer inspection, this resort falls short of the standards that the cost of the stay should warrant. The resort requires that all reservation and activity are booked through the “butler” service, which is practically non-existent. The butler essentially greets you and lets you know that all the reservations are already booked. The WhatsApp method of contacting them doesn’t work, and calling the front desk gets you a busy tone. I must restate how terrible the food is. We come on vacation to eat well. The food is like a glorified budget Vegas buffet. See attached photo of a crepe served to us at the french restaurant. I almost cried when we were served it. Everything closes early. Staying here is like vacation jail. And if you think the room service is an option, it’s like kindergarten version of a restaurant. Don’t get me started on the incessant man that cornered us when trying to make it to the breakfast buffet in time, but he wouldn’t let us leave after 7 minutes of trying every trick in the book to get us to the timeshare presentation. I almost lost my sh*t. It was unprofessional. I’m slamming this so hard because we paid so much and I’ve been to other all-inclusive resorts in Mexico. I’m appalled. I would never stay here voluntarily or recommend anyone I love to do so either.
