Viva Azteca by Wyndham

Had a wonderful time here. All the staff are amazing.special mention to andrea on the pool bar for supplying our coffee in the morning and to diego who kept us supplied with drink. Everbody here works so hard and always has a smile on their face. Recommend this hotel to everyone.

We went to Viva Azteca in the first week of March,2026. I thought I should give Viva another try. The resort was beautiful. Old but quite well maintained. The food was not bad at all. I tried all 3 a la cart restaurants ( Mexican, Italian and Asian fusion) all great, really...Loved the fact that I dd not have to book in advance... The staff was very very nice and friendly, unlike their counterparts from Viva Miches last year... The beach was beautiful, nice white sand, no rocks... The only downside was the sea weeds were terrible, to the point that you could not get into the water. This lasted the entire time we were there. The hotels near us tried at least to have some sea weeds removed so people can at least get into the water...this was really the only downside of the entire vacation, that we could not enjoy the water and that we spent most of the time at the pool... which was really nice... but not the same I really hope they will find a way to deal with this issue some how ...

Safe resort a lot of fun activities for teens and adults. Karla, Ixel, Andre, Alejandro and the entertainment team are so fun! Gracias!!! Great location - safe walk to the market and other viva hotel. Pool is beautiful. Food is fine but not the best. Staff is very kind and works so hard!

Loved our time there! Had fun learning to dance with Carla! Wonderful fun for the family
