I recently spent a week at the Viva Maya by Wyndham in PDC with a group of ladies. Our stay was great. For all the picky eaters out there, the buffet always had something to offer. I particularly enjoyed the coffee shop; a perfect spot to unwind. A special shoutout to my favorite bartender at the adults-only pool—his name starts with a “G.” He was always pleasant, smiling, and made the BEST beverages. Additionally, there was a security guard named Hilario. This employee was really personable and pleasant; he made us feel safe on the beach and by the pool Finally, one unexpected highlight was the NRG2GO teaching staff from 🇨🇦 . I’m not typically into aqua aerobics, but I found myself joining every class because of their contagious energy —such a fun way to stay active…and cool off!!! Way to go #cherylponee and #tinarowe. So, if you’re looking for a vacation…give it a go!

Dinner at the Cosmopolito was amazing! The food was delicious and our servers, Elio and Rafael, were outstanding. They were super nice, helpful with deciding meals and quick. We enjoyed our time there very much!

My partner and I just returned home to Canada after a fun filled week at Viva Maya. We were part of a group of 16 organized by Cheryl Ponee of NRG2GO. Cheryl and Tina Rowe are professional fitness instructors certified in many forms of exercise. I love their energy, music and choreography. It's the best combination of fitness and fun. Their classes enhanced the programming provided by Viva Maya's activity staff. Viva Maya is a small resort with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing week of fun in the sun. I loved the fact that the pool is located so close to the beach. We were able to sit under the palm trees enjoying the warm breeze while watching the surf. Our lounge chairs were ideally situated so we could choose pool or beach when the time came to get into the water and play. We enjoyed the buffet and a la carte restaurants while we were there. I particularly enjoyed Portofino.

Went on a girls trip for a week! Such a great spot to do everything from relaxing to fitness classes to watching performances. Experienced many of their great restaurants and the buffet was excellent as well. Beautiful resort with friendly staff and lots of activities. Felt safe and well cared for. Thank you to Viva Maya staff and NRG2GO for a great experience!
