We stayed has a family of 3 for 7 nights. Room was a good size with separate toilet, shower and sinks which was great for getting ready. View in our room wasnt great, we had a superior room which had a view of the works been carried out at the hotel next door. Hotel grounds are beautiful, and well looked after. Pool area nice, always plenty of beds and was clean however the temperature of the pool is hot! You cannot get in expecting to cool down. Sea...we had 5 lucky days with very little sargussum but 2 of a large amount which the hotel couldn't remove quick enough, doesn't stop you from getting in the sea which is lovely and warm. Lots of free water sports to do also. Food.....I would say is average, breakfast okay, plenty of options. Lunch again average in the buffet, snack bar the pool was better, burgers, pizzas, salads etc. Dinner was same most evenings, same meats and salad etc, nothing amazing to eat. We managed to book at the Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants which were both really good. Weather...late 30s all week, red hot and very humid. Overall a good week, staff work hard and hotel is lovely, just lacks on the food.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in the beginning of July as our first couples vacation and we had a great time. Highlights from our trip include: - Friendly service from all of the bartenders and servers - AC worked amazing in the rooms - Food at the buffet was pretty good for an all inclusive, and the themed nights were fun and interesting - Beach was lovely and well taken care of - Our travel representative was very efficient and no one tried to sell us a time share (lol) - Drinks were really good, my boyfriend loved the cold beer on tap in the buffet and bars - They had beach volleyball - There were bikes available to take and go off resort with which was super fun and the staff there was very helpful with adjusting the bikes for us - There’s a nearby mini market place which was very fun to explore - The cafe was very cute and had delicious coffee - The resort was very quiet, not crowded, and did not have an obnoxious entertainment team unlike other all inclusive resorts I’ve been to - We were here during the world cup and they did amazing playing the games and creating a fun atmosphere in the sports bar and outdoor theatre where we were able to watch the games Let downs: - Check in sucked. We arrived around 1 and knew we wouldn’t be able to check in until 3, so we waited in the lobby that had no air conditioning. We understood that waiting there wouldn’t be great, but we only had our airport clothes on us and our backpacks so we didn’t really have much else of a choice. Then they kept postponing the time we could go to our room and we weren’t able to check in until 4:30 because “the room wasn’t ready”. Finally they let us have our room keys and when we got to our room the door was left wide open. We also booked one king size bed but got two doubles instead, but after all the hassle with check in we just dealt with it lol. - There was construction being done right outside our balcony and we got woken up at 8am every day except Sunday - No bottled water in the fridge or coffee in the room. I understand that some places don’t do this, but it was lucky I brought my own water bottle I could fill at the water fountain or else we would have had no water unless we went to a bar where they had (definitely warm) water available. Also pretty sure the fridge didn’t even work because it was warm inside. - There was a cockroach in our room that found its way inside my bathing suit (to be fair, I did leave it on the floor) which was not the best surprise! We didn’t want to say anything because it was just one, but still gross. We also had a second cockroach find its way in our room, but I’m pretty sure I let it in when I went out on our balcony. - The food at the restaurants was not good - When you entered the buffet you literally started sweating. Zero AC and a couple fans but sometimes they weren’t all turned on which was confusing. - Room cleaning was not the best. On our second day they cleaned our room and left the cutest elephant shaped towel on the bed, so we left a nice tip for the cleaners but the next day when they cleaned our room they left us with no towels at all and we had to wait hours after calling to get them to bring some. - They actually didn’t leave us with any towels multiple times and we had to go grab some off a cart because we would come back from the beach all sandy and wanting a shower and couldn’t just wait hours for them to bring us a towel. - Another part of the cleaning was that my boyfriend ended up needing laundry done, so we filled out the form and left his clothes to be washed, but to get them back we had to wait until the next day and call guest services three times since they kept saying they were sending someone with it, but again, took hours to get to our room. - We’re from Canada and speak English, so it was hard communicating with the staff or participating in activities because majority of the staff only spoke Spanish Overall, we really did enjoy our stay and would recommend this place to someone else but there’s definitely parts that could be improved :)

I have gone to Mexico 16-20 times in the last 20 years! Only reason we went to this hotel as friends were going to this particular resort. This is not one we would have picked. The drinks - non alcoholic or alcoholic are beyond terrible. They are bottom shelf lowest quality you can imagine and so is the food. This wasn’t a real all inclusive it was not wonderful to feel like you couldn’t enjoy a good Pepsi or beer or a nice meal on vacation. I am not picky but when you pay over 1500$ for 4 nights per person you expect some basic elements Rooms have cheap body wash and shampoo but no conditioner. Took us 3 nights to get some shampoo from the hotel The staff were nice and the grounds were kept well but it’s such a small resort with very little to do unless you participate in the daily activities that are beyond cheaply done and go into the one pool that hundreds go and you smell the pee from a mile away.
