AMI Budva Petrovac

As a five-star hotel, I was disappointed with the service. Perhaps it’s because it’s relatively new and tourism is still developing in Montenegro. The room service was consistently poor. Towels and water were often forgotten, and multiple chase-up calls were needed to get them. The food was basic and repetitive. The same dishes were often served day after day, and hygiene standards were lacking. The buffet food was left open, attracting flies. The gym was minimal, with only one bench, maximum weights to 22Kg only, a few treadmills and a malfunctioning multi-gym that didn’t work. The steam room and another room weren’t working either. Fresh towels were a problem because the spa area didn’t have a regular supply. The indoor pool wasn’t the 27 degrees advertised and the main spa jet was broken. The hotel itself was decent and conveniently located near the beach. Nikolas who was on reception, was genuinely helpful and attentive. He resolved concerns when they arose but unfortunately wasn’t always available due to his shift patterns. I believe things will improve in a few years as they’ll understand the standards expected of a five-star hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Conveniently located a 5-7min walk from the main beach area of Petrovac. Service was good- not outstanding but decent. One thing that really irked me was the fact that I had a baby in a pushchair and was located in the tower with one broken lift and no direct access to the breakfast area. This meant that to get to breakfast you had to take two lifts and they were very busy. Many of the places were also not directly accessible with a pushchair or wheelchair. From the entrances where you needed someone to open the door for you to the swimming pool. The indoor swimming pool was great- a lovely garden space too. Our room was nice but often smelt when the AC was on- not sure why. Breakfast offering was decent for Europe.

We Were really looking Forward to the 5 star rating of our over budget hotel ami . What a let down thought it was well overpriced. We paid a high premium for a Deluxe Sea view Room, okay we had a sea view, nice balcony BUT the room was just Alright, We felt like we were in a Family room with A locked door leading to a much better room with separate seating Area with settee , Double bed with built in tv . So we were in the other adjoining room . Rooms were cleaned in a Rush , Overpriced Mini Bar. Now I’ll come to my biggest annoyance. When your on holiday it’s nice to sit on your balcony after a day out or whatever and have a couple of beers , few snacks , glass of wine I appreciate it’s not for Everyone., But The Hotel ami had strict rules NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AND SNACKS EVEN BOTTLED WATER Allowed From Outside Supermarkets which is annoying because there is a brilliant Supermarket directly below the Hotel. The morning sun bed brigade was in effect Annoying because there there were only 10 beds around the pool area Not a chance and really uncomfortable deck chars scattered around. Plenty of sun lounger’s above on an open top Area. Food in Restaurants just Average Very repetitive Both Breakfast and Dinner. So HOTEL AMI DISAPPOINTED. WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE RETURNING. On To the delightful Town of PETROVAC 🤩 lovely Bars/resturants. Not overpriced . The Resort compensated for the Hotel 😆 Would we Return to PETROVAC MOST DEFINITELY 💯 ♥️😍😎👍🌟BUT DEFINITELY NOT REGIMENTED AMI 😡👎😡😤

Fantastic hotel, the staff are super friendly (especially Angela) and were all so helpful, polite and welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the bath towels, robes and slippers provided in the rooms were very white and fluffy and not a stain or straggly bit in sight. The rooms are very clean and shower gel and shampoo etc. provided and topped up regularly. There was a bottle of water provided in the room on the first day but not replaced once used. It would have been nice to have been given complimentary water daily especially as this is a 5* hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the private beach and the promenade where there were lots of restaurants. The breakfast was very plentiful with something for everyone but I prefer my cooked breakfast just a bit hotter. Fabios Italian restaurant at the hotel was lovely, waiter service with exquisite food, especially the chicken in peanut sauce. The hotel has valet parking too.

My husband and I stayed at Ami Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is lovely, clean and well looked after the staff are fabulous, so helpful.
