AMI Budva Petrovac

Just returned from 10 days and what a wonderful 10 days it was. Bed & breakfast basis. Breakfast was nice, lots to choose from but mostly the same choices. Suited us fine. The hotel is spotless, everyone was pleasant and happy to help, very friendly. Room service was brilliant, kettle and fridge in the large, light and sunny room. We were on the 6th floor and the view was fabulous. Massage in the Spa was also top notch. Short stroll to the beach, private section with a bar, seriously the best Pinacolada ever. Lovely stroll to the seafront bars and restaurants, gorgeous food, gorgeous views. Would highly recommend.

Comfy happy stay. Excellent location. X5 mins walk to range of bars /restaurants/ shops /beach. Private beach was nice with free sunbeds. Shingle not sandy. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Standard room was clean and comfy, but a bit small for our liking/price/5star rating . Quality toiletries. Comfy bed. Room cleaned quite late on some days for our liking eg 1pm. So if we returned to room at lunch time to relax it wasn’t ready. Lovely tasty breakfast buffet with huge wide range of food. Hot water machine for tea water often packed up. Prefer a teapot to table service. Didn’t try spa pool as all sunbeds taken. Went on an all day very early trip to Kotor so had a packed lunch breakfast. Disappointed sandwiches were dry and basic - cheese and ham version. Went in the local bus to town of Bar. Bus stops / Station nearby. Lovely church there worth a visit. Caught boat trip eur10 return to Budva. Bought ticket on seafront. Enjoyed old town. Go on the Nice coastal walk through pine forests and rock tunnels to an abandoned hotel.

On the whole very good but, would question 5 star status! Great location, lovely hotel/rooms/facilities/ambience etc. Against: • Bar continually ran out of cold beer!! This was due to fridges not being re-stocked! • Buffet breakfast chaotic! (Excellent choice of food however). • Dreadful repetitive music playlist (repeats around every 30 minutes) around hotel! Create a much longer playlist!!! • Early morning wake-up call not made. • Evidence of poorly maintained decking around hotel. Due to these ‘issues’, 4 stars is more appropriate. Would stay again.

A very nice hotel in a great building and good rooms. Great facilities in the hotel and well kept. The spa area is very good, although the steam room was so smelly we couldn't go in again after a first try. Room, bathroom and amenities inside were clean and well-kept. Good and clean swimming pool, lot of nice relaxation areas and facilities in the hotel. It is in a nice location too, only 5 mins walk from beach and restaurants. At least 2 other beaches are also walkable distances from the hotel. Not the hotel's fault but it was full of babies and kids (in Aug). However, the staff was a big negative. We had to ask everyday multiple times for coffee and cream refills as housekeeping didn't refill them everyday. Hotel does not communicate to guests about major festivals in town and the evening events in the hotel (info screens didn't have anything either). If you ask them something, they expressed their displeasure at you to have inconvenienced them. The majority of the staff had a lazy and I don't care attitude.

Fabulous hotel cosy room great choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Indoor and out door plinth excellent not downfall not enough pointers by outside pool. Pleasant staff. Own part on beach to go to with hotel buggy to take you down they supply pool towels. Plenty of shops and bars restaurants along beach front
