Carnie Delfin Beach Hotel is located in a beautiful setting, and the property itself has great potential. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing due to several issues, particularly regarding hospitality and service standards. The waiters work very hard, but most of them rarely interact with guests, greet them, or make them feel welcome. This was not only our experience but something we observed with many guests. There is also a lady who manages the restaurant and has an office next to the main reception, as well as a gentleman who wears a light sky-blue long-sleeved shirt. Both appeared to lack the hospitality and guest-focused attitude expected in a hotel environment. The only exceptions were two waiters, Seka and Bernie, who consistently greeted guests, engaged with them, and made an effort to provide a pleasant experience. Their professionalism and friendliness were greatly appreciated. The housekeeping team also works very hard; however, our bed linen was not changed during our five-day stay. While the floors were mopped, they were not properly vacuumed, and hair from previous guests could still be seen on the floor. The food was another major disappointment. Most of the items appeared to be frozen, pre-packaged, or heavily processed. The menu rotated every two days, with the same breakfast items, desserts, and fruit selections repeatedly offered. The few freshly cooked dishes were often overcooked, dry, and served without appropriate sauces or gravies. In my opinion, the Carnie Hotel Group should invest in comprehensive hospitality training for its management and service teams, as well as significantly improve the quality and variety of its food offerings. I have worked in the hotel industry for over 30 years and have traveled extensively throughout Europe, the USA, and Asia. Based on that experience, I believe there is considerable room for improvement in both service standards and guest experience.

In my opinion this is an excellent hotel, and to honest I'm giving an all-round opinion based on a number of factors. Firstly, the accommodation; we had a double room with a wonderful sea view. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and we had fresh towels in our room (215) each day. Facilities at the hotel are impressive, although the indoor pool was closed we really enjoyed the outdoor pool with its great views. The food options were excellent with at least 5 or 6 hot options; we enjoyed trying the National dishes too. To be fair, when it's a buffet I tend to to take small amounts of almost everything; some things were not to my taste but that didn't matter as I had only taken a small amount. Probably the best range of salads I have seen anywhere; always very fresh, and local produce as far as I could tell. The Staff: what can I say, they were marvelous; very helpful, professional yet friendly and good to chat with, I can't praise them highly enough. Having read some of the negative comments on T.A and compared them with my own experience, well I just don't know what they were looking for; I never heard a single negative comment from anyone I spoke to. If I were looking for something to have a whinge about it would probably be the Cocktails; they're made by a machine and a bit disappointing, however there are bars nearby if you want 'proper' cocktails. Would we return? Oh yes, definitely!

Great service and friendly staff, both the receptionists and waiters. Also very tidy rooms and clean towels every day. Beautiful and well-maintained beach and good food. All praise.
