Hotel Fagus

Firstly, the room was very spacious and clean but there are literally no sheets on the bed just small squares that you have to use to put over you which is ridiculous and doesn’t keep you warm at all. For quite a pricey hotel this is not satisfactory at all. As well as this the hotel has no dry cleaning service and will charge you anything around €20 euro for the slightest stain left on the bad which is appalling. The staff were particularly useless and any time I had an issue and needed assistance they palmed us off with one word answers and didn’t want to hear it, ignoring us and then moving on to the next customer right behind us without even using basic manners. The staff at breakfast were quite rude and were giving our group strange looks as we came down, not sure why. Breakfast was absolutely disgraceful. The only options were a few slices of cake, some dry bread and vegetables. Nothing like a traditional hotel breakfast. It was not edible at all and every day we found ourselves walking to the supermarket or small town for breakfast which is not ideal considering how expensive this hotel was.

I honestly never leave reviews but this was an absolute let down, for the price you pay its just not worth it. There were two women at the front desk who were coming off as extremely rude and would straight up give you dirty looks when you walked by, creating a really unwelcoming atmosphere. The food was so disappointing and it seemed like there was no effort put into it, staff literally come to your table so many times to clean a plate or even just your glass its a little uncomfortable and you cant eat in peace. Room was okay i seen other people mention mold i dont believe ours had that, but the pool tiles did look unpleasant as the grout was covered in some sort of black algae or maybe that was black mold. The location of the hotel is great which is why i am so disappointed because it could have been perfect. But each time we walked in (and it was those two rude women) we would get judged and looked up and down. I would recommend finding another hotel in Budva because its a gorgeous place and our hotel experience did ruin parts of our holiday. As someone that never really leaves reviews i genuinely couldnt not do it to this one because me and my partner were so gutted at how bad it was as we spent a pretty penny on it.

I booked an EasyJet holiday. Hotel Fagus was within a 10-15min walk to the beach, marina and the Old Town. The breakfas it was exceptional and the room was always clean. I did use the roof top pool to relax ater a day of walking and discovering Budva. The only suggestion would be if they had lounge chairs instead of just chairs on the roof top.

We arrived very early and were allowed to check in pleasingly. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, hit and miss with what comes out each day. Sometime chicken goujons, sometimes deep fried calamari rings, a bit odd. Some passive aggressive notes in the rooms stating that consumption of food and alcohol purchased outside the premises is ‘forbidden’ I would potentially understand this if they had a bar. Even then, I am a fully grown adult, if I fancy a drink on the balcony of an evening then I should be able to have one. (They do have a mini bar with local wine and local beer) Pool area is small and there are no loungers (or parasols) so EasyJet should probably update their advert! Still, was nice to get to the roof and have a dip. Cleanliness was perfect, room cleaned every day and the hotel seemed in good clean condition at all times. Location very good, a short walk to old town. Overall, a good stay and would return.

This is not a Resort Hotel as such as it has no beach. The hotel pool is small. It is however well located and the Old Town, Tourist Office and Central Bus Station are all easily walkable. There are many restaurants nearby. My Superior Room was in a newish annex. It was a good size with a small sofa (no cushions) and a narrow (almost useless) balcony, wardrobes, fridge, safe and a walk-in shower. A large TV. The bedside lamps did not work and were not mended during my stay. Room information comprises a notice prohibiting food in the room and a schedule of charges for soiling linen with makeup or fake tan! Very Resort Hotel. There was no information about a Spa or Sauna. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was simple and of mediocre quality. So, not 4 start International standard but a good 3 Star.
