Hotel Fagus

I booked an EasyJet holiday. Hotel Fagus was within a 10-15min walk to the beach, marina and the Old Town. The breakfas it was exceptional and the room was always clean. I did use the roof top pool to relax ater a day of walking and discovering Budva. The only suggestion would be if they had lounge chairs instead of just chairs on the roof top.

We arrived very early and were allowed to check in pleasingly. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, hit and miss with what comes out each day. Sometime chicken goujons, sometimes deep fried calamari rings, a bit odd. Some passive aggressive notes in the rooms stating that consumption of food and alcohol purchased outside the premises is ‘forbidden’ I would potentially understand this if they had a bar. Even then, I am a fully grown adult, if I fancy a drink on the balcony of an evening then I should be able to have one. (They do have a mini bar with local wine and local beer) Pool area is small and there are no loungers (or parasols) so EasyJet should probably update their advert! Still, was nice to get to the roof and have a dip. Cleanliness was perfect, room cleaned every day and the hotel seemed in good clean condition at all times. Location very good, a short walk to old town. Overall, a good stay and would return.

This is not a Resort Hotel as such as it has no beach. The hotel pool is small. It is however well located and the Old Town, Tourist Office and Central Bus Station are all easily walkable. There are many restaurants nearby. My Superior Room was in a newish annex. It was a good size with a small sofa (no cushions) and a narrow (almost useless) balcony, wardrobes, fridge, safe and a walk-in shower. A large TV. The bedside lamps did not work and were not mended during my stay. Room information comprises a notice prohibiting food in the room and a schedule of charges for soiling linen with makeup or fake tan! Very Resort Hotel. There was no information about a Spa or Sauna. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was simple and of mediocre quality. So, not 4 start International standard but a good 3 Star.

Old Town, the Tourist Office where many trips start and the central bus station are all easily walkable. My superior room was in the relatively new annex. It was a reasonable size with a large TV, a two seater sofa (no cushions), fridge and a narrow almost useless balcony. The bedside lamps did not work and were not mended during my stay otherwise it was a very well fitted room. There was no information pack in the room. Just a notice prohibiting food and giving costs of soiling sheets, etc with makeup or fake tan. Definitely Resort Hotel! The wi-fi password is only displayed in reception. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was simple and of mediocre quality. So, not International 4 Star but an acceptable 3 Star.

Just returned from here with Jet2, the hotel is an ideal location, the room was exactly what we expected and really clean. We had bed and breakfast, and the breakfast consisted of everything you’d expect for a continental breakfast and you were able to get sausages, bacon and eggs on most days. Staff were really friendly and helpful, would stay here again if we came back, the pool is cold but we spent most of time at Mogren beach and exploring the country so we didn’t have the need to use it during the stay
