Splendid Conference & Spa Resort

We spent 3 nights in this hotel staying in a Wellness suite. As others have pointed out, there are some elements which are a little dated or quirky - such as the circular bed in our room. But overall we had a very nice stay and had no complaints. The room was clean, well equipped and we slept well. Thought it was good value for the rate charged. The hotel is big and it is busy -and yes if you go in August like we did, there are likely to be a lot of families and young children around. That means the pool and the restaurant can be a bit noisy but nothing too bad. Actually we thought the children seemed very well behaved in general. We stayed half board -the breakfast buffets were good with a lot of choice and the evening meal buffet was also totally fine. Given we were only staying three nights, we didnt want the hassle of finding somewhere to eat each evening given the hotel is a bit of a walk into Budva itself. However saying.that, I am not sure I would want to eat in the hotel every night if I was staying for a week. The hotel has a private area of beach and like the pool area, although many of the sunloungers do get reserved, we always found some available. We also used the indoor pools in the very large spa as well as the gym. Never too busy in either so again, no complaints at all. We were staying in Budva for 3 nights as part of a 2 week holiday in Montenegro Although the country as a whole is very beautiful, Budva itself is very built up and 'resort' like. Therefore we.probably wouldn't come back to Budva again.but that is no reflection on the hotel. There are a few things that they could probably improve on in terms of modernisation but overall we were very happy with our stay. Would recommend

Very beautiful hotel,great location at the Sea the suites are amazing

We had another wonderful stay at Splendid! This was our fourth year in a row, and it continues to exceed our expectations. The resort is beautiful, with a lovely beach, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent food, and a great bar. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. What truly made our stay exceptional was the Kids Club. It is absolutely amazing and one of the best we've experienced. The team genuinely cares about the children, creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment every day. They play with the kids, teach them new things, organize creative activities and exciting events, and make every child feel special. A special thank you to Nemanja, Lepa, Marija, and the entire Kids Club team. You are all superstars! Our son absolutely loved spending time with you and looked forward to going to the Kids Club every day. Seeing how happy, comfortable, and excited he was gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax. Thank you for creating such a fun, genuine, and safe environment for the children. We couldn't be more grateful. We highly recommend Splendid to anyone, especially families with kids!

The hotel hasn’t been renovated in 20 years. Everything is literally falling apart. Even the things they have repaired were poorly fixed and keep breaking again. The worst part is that they closed off part of the pool to celebrate the hotel’s anniversary. They built a stage there and played extremely loud music all day and late into the night. They literally torture their guests with the excessive noise until late at night. A hotel to avoid.

Great hotel. Quite room, very clean. Breakfast was fabulous.
