⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Spa Experience at Splendid Spa Montenegro I had an absolutely amazing experience at Splendid Spa in Montenegro. As someone who has worked for many years in five-star luxury resorts and spas in California, I have very high standards when it comes to service, professionalism, cleanliness, and treatments — and I was genuinely impressed by Splendid Spa. I had an exceptional facial with Marija whose approach, professionalism, and knowledge were outstanding. She took the time to understand my skin and provided a truly personalized treatment. Her technique and attention to detail were exactly what I would expect from a high-end five-star spa. The spa itself was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and very professional, with excellent facilities. I also want to recognize the spa attendant who gave me a tour when I was looking around the spa. Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but I believe it started with A. He was extremely professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He took time to give me a facility tour .I even told him that if I was secret shopper I would give him highest score. It is always wonderful, especially as a spa professional myself, to experience a place where the standards of service and care are so high. Well done, Splendid Spa! 👏 Marija and the entire team made my experience truly special. This is a beautiful hotel. Whilst it is very big it never felt overcrowded. My room was superb - lots of storage space, good air conditioning, massive comfortable bed and walk in shower (also had a bath). The balcony was spacious and the chairs were the best I've ever had on a holiday. Sturdy, wooden with cushions, that slightly recline to make it very comfortable for morning/evening chill out time. The room was cleaned daily, and bedsheets were changed every 2 days. I found the pillows too soft and requested a firmer one. Without hesitation a selection was offered to me and I found the perfect ones. Towels were changed daily. The air conditioning is I believe set at a certain temperature. However, when I requested it to be lowered there was no problem in adjusting it to be colder. There is a hairdryer, robe and slippers, safe and coffee making facilities in the room. You also have a complimentary daily bottle of water delivered to your room. There was no kettle. I had read this so took my own, but be aware there were no tea bags left in the room so you need to take those too. My only criticism with the room was the lack of explanation regarding light switches etc. They were hard to understand and bearing in mind one unlocks the door, and one can show a green light outside for cleaning, I was very nervous about pushing the wrong one in the night but did manage to work out which ones NOT to touch. It's my fault as Im sure if I asked they would have explained it to me. The staff are brilliant throughout - very friendly and professional. The people on reception helped us many times booking taxis and that included getting us a taxi back to the hotel when we found ourselves stranded! The concierge also helped with information about local buses, and places to visit, To me one of the most appealing things was the private beach area. It was quite hot when we visited so it was great to be able to laze near the sea where it was a bit cooler. Towels are freely provided and you don't have to pay for the sunbeds and/or umbrellas. There is a lovely bar, showers and changing rooms. The toilets are also kept impeccable clean which is great when you're on the beach for the whole day. And this is literally at the gate of the hotel - such a bonus. The beach is pebbly and entering the sea is a bit of an effort as you sink in. It also drops quite quickly. But take water shoes with you (or buy them from one of the beach shops) and it's no problem and well worth it - the sea was 27 and so clear. But don't underestimate the pools either. They are beautiful - lots of different areas to chill in bubbles, but also a decent size to swim lengths. Never a problem with sunbeds at the pool, or the beach and we never went down until about 11.00am. I found the beds on the beach more comfortable and they had 'lids' on, like you find in Italy - so good to keep the sun off your head. The pool ones were also comfortable though - not horrible plastic. I guess the dining room was busy for breakfast but there were no queues and the selection was incredible. The lady who made me a fresh omelette each day was very pleasant and chatty - I'm sorry I never got her name. Whilst it was great to have decent English Tea it was a little disappointing that there was no fresh orange juice. But it didn't matter - we treated ourselves each day at the beach bar. Prices are a little high, but I think it is to be expected at a hotel of this quality. Within walking distance along the promenade there is a huge selection of bars and restaurants although not a lot immediately where the hotel is situated. I don't think you could walk into Budva (it is a must to visit though) but a taxi is 10 euro so not too bad. Only get the cabs with phone numbers ending in 555 or the cost will be about 20! The hotel will always arrange one for you. Montenegro is beautiful and there is still a lot more to see. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and hope very much to return soon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Splendid Conference & Spa Resort was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious, professional, and very well organized. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the views are simply breathtaking. The beach and pool area are excellent, and the spa is one of the best we have experienced. Everything is clean, elegant, and maintained to a very high standard. A special thank you to the entire staff. Everyone was extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The service made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality food. The location is also perfect - peaceful and relaxing, yet close to Budva and many beautiful places to visit in Montenegro. Splendid is definitely a hotel we would happily return to. A perfect choice for anyone looking for comfort, luxury, beautiful views, and excellent service in Montenegro. Highly recommended! ❤️🇲🇪

Overall good experience at this hotel. Bedrooms are large, a little dated, but nothing to moan about. The pool is great with plenty of sunbeds available. The pool is not heated, but it’s 30 degrees out there - who wants a heated pool??? Free sunbeds on private beach and decent beach towels available. The hotel restaurant on the promenade was great. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. There are lots of other restaurants on the promenade to also choose from. Do I think the hotel is 5 star - No, buts it’s a decent 4 star hotel.

Large resort hotel situated on the beach. Well maintained with a large swimming pool, seperate childs pool and a private beach. The bedroom are large comfortable in clean condition but with dated decor. Promenade restaurant expensive but very good food. Breakfast buffet like a mad house unless you eat immediately when it opens at 7.00am.
