Hotel Ester

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break in Krakow. Room was very clean, nice little bathroom and a very, very comfy bed. Hosts were kind and pleasant helping me to find an open chemist when I had an allergic reaction to something. I am only marking this down one point due to renovations being undertaken in their restaurant which woke us up early every morning.

Would not have gone to this hotel if we would have known what was happening. It was dusty, dark. There was building work going on in the hotel on the restaurant attached. We booked this in November so they defiantly had time to tell us about the up coming work on the hotel. There was building work going on early morning, banging. Drilling, work men smoking outside, dusty foot prints, the air felt dusty. The shower head in our room did not work, only the rainfall shower head which i did not want to use as i did not want to get my hair wet. The floor was soaked every-time due to the shower door being an odd design. The hotels hoover lived outside our room? Was not moved once in the 5 nights we were there. The two men on reception were welcoming and smiley. That was the only good thing about the hotel. The lady didn’t feel so welcoming. It was meant to be 4 stars? It seemed like a very run down experience that was not worth the money at all.

Lovely hotel in Kazimierz district. Spotless and clean towels every day. 15 mins last night walk from main square but lots of bars and restaurants close by

This is an extremely pleasant in the Kazimierz district and a great base from which to explore the city. The rooms are a decent size. The food is good enough. The hotel is quiet on a night, but rather noisy after 6:00am. I think it’s the staff setting up for breakfast. The Wi-Fi is excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Friendliest staff, went out of their way to help with all requests, a special comment to Dominica who worked in the restaurant, she was delightful. A comfy family run hotel. Some interesting internal decor, making it have a more individual feeling than big chain hotels. Lovely restaurant with a menu that has something for everyone and breakfast too. In a great location in the Jewish Quarter and easy walk to the main square and Wawel Castle.
