We arrived late tuesday night and we was given room 200,our first impressions was the room was very dated, the room was unbearable to sleep in as it was so hot the windows would only open about a couple of centremitres! Around 2am in the morning we was woken up by extreme clanking from the radiators (it’s a shame I can’t add videos so u could hear the noise they were making) this happened multiple times throughout the night/early hours of the morning. After being out all day the next day we came back and stood outside the room and heard the radiators making the same racket through door so we went to report it to reception and the lady was rude and had attitude and we offered her to listen to the recordings of the noise and she said “no I don’t need to hear it the maintenance guy will be out within two hours. to make the noise stop she said to put the radiators on number 2 which didn’t work the radiators made the noise for another solid 2 hours. The maintenance guy arrived and he told us to turn the heat up full to stop the noise but we tried all ways to stop it but he didn’t believe us and said he’d try to get us moved rooms after we put our point across saying we tried everything we ended up being moved rooms the room (207) was instantly cooler and the windows opened wider but then realised we had bites all over our bodies we think it’s bed bugs or fleas as it’s a pet friendly hotel… the only good thing about our stay was the scrambled eggs at breakfast and their apple juice was delicious

Ok negative first, hotel was a little tired and dated, away from the city centre. That said we loved how friendly and helpful the staff were in particular Dorota the receptionist was very welcoming, extremely helpful with tips on where to get the tram into the main square, even offered to sort out a breakfast box as we were leaving early to fly home. The young guy from Ukraine who served in the bar every night(Im sorry I forgot your name) is a credit to Best Western, always cheerful a real nice guy. Finally Tomasz the manager friendly helpful and we hope to see you in the hotel next year. Location was less than 20 mins from the city centre, food was very good (great chef) and local beer also. Krakow is a beautiful city with lots going on, trams are very cheap just 4zl for 20 mins, the food in the square was average price and the Polish people made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going back.

This hotel is very basic and a little dated but it was spotlessly clean and our room was prepped daily with fresh towels and beds made.. its not directly in the main centre but is not far at all, we got an uber for around £3.50 or there was a tram stop directly outside. Across the road is a supermarket, McDonald’s, chemist, kebab shop.. the breakfast was a selection of hot food including sausage and scrambled eggs, and the cold was cereal, yoghurt, hams, cheeses and fruits. The coffee was lovely as were the different breads to toast. I would stay here again.
