Hotel Hetman

Quaint hotel in the Old Praga District, which we chose mainly because of the attractive price, its location, and the availability of underground parking (for a small surcharge). Rooms were ample, simple, clean and pretty quiet. Very good and varied breakfast. Friendly personnel both at the reception and in the breakfast room. The old town can be easily reached in about 30-40 minutes via the new pedestrian bridge which offers, especially in the evening, impressive views of Varsavia (one can just imagine the visual impact of the Palace of Culture and Science before the skyscrapers one sees today were built). Warsaw itself is a very nice and safe city well worth a visit.

We stayed 3 nights at The Hetman Hotel in Warsaw and the stay was correct. The room and the hotel itself shows very clean in all areas. The hotel is very well located with many transport options with a safe and quiet location. Our room was allocated in the back of the building avoiding all type of noises therefore, our stay was relaxing. I have to mention also, the receptionist made our check in around 12:00 pm that it was a great touch as we were very tired after many hours awake. The Hetman hotel does not have a restaurant but they have a small breakfast room with no more than 10 tables which is correct too. The breakfast is very complex from juices to cold meats…that it’s copious. Matthew (Mateusz) the waiter was the only member helping in the breakfast area, this gentleman is very attentive and makes efforts to greet the guests in their home languages. English, Spanish … etc. HK is a dedicated team who will leave the room ready for you with high standards but the reception staff was not very talkative at all, however they were very correct and helpful. Overall our stay was enjoyable, the hotel is very recommended and you will be looked after for the whole team. Regards Bruna & Raúl.

This hotel is a budget hotel and the facilities are fairly basic however it is clean and spacious throughout. We had a twin room and was very spacious with reasonable amenities and air conditioning. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the room cleaned well. My only complaints about the room was the shower set up, very difficult to wash if you are taller than 5ft as the shower attachment is so low down and the water pressure wasn't great. Also the air conditioning had a damp smell on the first day so I am not sure they service it very often. Location was great with a tram stop around the corner, 2 stops to the old town. Plenty of shops etc within walking distance. Did not have breakfast at the hotel but note there are luggage room facilities for a late flight home. Great base for a trip to the lovely city of Warsaw.

Large, clean room. Large, clean bathroom. It is not a modern decor, but a classic one. It has its own charm. Great location in the Praga - Warsaw district. Very good and varied breakfast. Very helpful staff.

The hotel has a dated feel about it, but everything was in good order. Staff were particularly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine, same as so many places. It was good to have secure underground parking, but you had to pay extra for it. Location was good since it was on a relatively quiet side road yet very close to a major metro/tram/bus interchange making it easy to get anywhere quickly. A bonus for us was over70s travel for free! We were happy with our stay.
