We have just returned from a week during Feb half term with two children aged 1 and 4 on a full board basis. The hotel is stunning and rooms spacious with great storage. Staff are friendly, helpful and so brilliant with the children. We loved the use of the different pool with range of depths for the kids to play. The water park was great with range of areas and slides for different age groups. The place felt incredibly safe with lots of life guards and security. The beach which also has stationed life guards was clean with lots of sun beds and the children loved the swings! Food was brilliant, we ate at the buffet for breakfast and some lunches, we loved the Arabic restaurant and Italian both à la carte for dinner. Special shout out to Meek who was always ready with a buggy to take us around the resort and the lovely ladies who organised painting on canvas for the children! During the final two days of the trip it was Ramadan, we would have found it useful to know the following: - no eating or drinking outside including around the pool - all restaurants remain open but only eating indoors during day light hours, this was in contrast to lunches around the pool and in the cabanas as well as drinks including alcohol and cocktails - no alcohol is served apart from in your room, no cocktails were allowed just wine, beer and fizz (this did take a while to come) and in contrast to cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and milkshakes that were made before. -the resort vibe changed (no music around the pool, activities seemed to stop) -the resort got busier with more people coming for the day it seemed The hotel was beautifully decorated and the above did not bother us but it did feel different towards the end of the holiday. In summary we had an amazing time and would love to return

Our stay at Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas was nothing short of exceptional and truly one of the most memorable family holidays we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and genuine hospitality of the entire team stood out. Every interaction felt personal, kind and effortless, and it is clear that guest experience sits at the heart of everything here. As Hilton Diamond members we felt incredibly well looked after. We were very grateful to be upgraded into a beautiful suite, which made our stay even more special. The reception team were fantastic throughout, and although I cannot remember every name individually, the wider front office team were consistently welcoming and professional. The journey to and from the resort was also completely seamless. We arranged a private transfer directly with the hotel, and after a long overnight flight it was such a welcome comfort to be greeted on arrival, helped with our bags and taken straight to the resort without any stress. The return journey was equally smooth, with the added bonus that our driver kindly took us on a short drive through West Bay so we could take in some of Doha’s skyline before heading to the airport. It was a thoughtful extra touch that summed up the level of care shown throughout our stay. The suite itself exceeded all expectations. The space, design and attention to detail were outstanding, and the balcony view was simply breathtaking. It quickly became our favourite place to relax together as a family, especially at sunset. The rooms were kept spotless throughout our stay and a huge thank you to the wonderful housekeeping team, Sarah, Beatrice, Muha and Mad, as well as the wider housekeeping staff, for their care and kindness. The resort is truly stunning. The buildings feel grand and elegant while still being relaxed and family friendly. The beach was a highlight for us. The water was incredibly calm which allowed us to swim, paddle and simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Poolside amenities were excellent, and as Diamond members we also really appreciated the coupons we received, which we exchanged for canapés and beverages. These were absolutely delicious and such a welcome treat by the pool. Desert Falls Waterpark was another brilliant part of our stay. Our children, aged six and four, had plenty of activities to keep them occupied and the highlights for them were the wave pool and the exploratory water play area. Lunch at the waterpark was great, and what we really loved was that access was included within the stay. Being able to visit for two to four hours without feeling like we had to commit to an entire day made it feel relaxed and fun rather than a big, stressful outing. Our children absolutely adored the Kids Club. It was almost impossible to get them to leave. A special thank you to Leilani, Andrew and the rest of the Kids Club team who were wonderful with our children and made them feel completely at home. The spa experience was outstanding. Our couples hammam was one of the best spa experiences we have ever had, deeply relaxing and beautifully delivered. My relaxation massage was also brilliant, and Dorcus from the spa, along with the wider spa team, provided exceptional care and professionalism. Dining during Ramadan added something truly special to our stay. The Iftar at Souk Kitchen felt elevated, thoughtful and full of atmosphere. We were so well looked after by Isimbi, Beth and Bisila, and the entire restaurant team who made every meal feel welcoming and memorable. What truly makes this resort exceptional is the people. Every member of staff we encountered was gracious, attentive and genuinely proud of what they do. Even during Ramadan, the atmosphere remained calm, respectful and incredibly welcoming for families like ours. Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is more than just a beautiful property. It is a place where hospitality feels authentic, service is impeccable and memories are made effortlessly. We leave incredibly grateful for the experience and already looking forward to returning.
