Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Here is a breakdown of my stay: 1. Location The location is simply unbeatable. Situated right in the heart of the city yet feeling like a private oasis, it offers breathtaking views of the West Bay skyline and the Arabian Gulf. It’s incredibly convenient, being close to the city center, the Corniche, and major attractions, yet feels completely removed from the hustle and bustle. 2. Atmosphere The hotel has a timeless, iconic charm. The architecture is stunning, and the sprawling gardens create a serene, resort-like ambiance. It perfectly blends a sense of history with modern luxury. The lobby is grand and welcoming, making you feel like you’ve arrived somewhere special. 3. Rooms The rooms are spacious, elegant, and impeccably maintained. The classic design is complemented by modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The beds are incredibly plush, guaranteeing a great night’s sleep, and the views from the windows are spectacular. 4. Value Considering the level of luxury, the prime location, and the outstanding service, the Sheraton Grand Doha offers incredible value. It’s a premium experience that feels worth every penny. 5. Cleanliness The hotel is spotless. From the lobby to the guest rooms and the pool areas, the cleanliness standards are top-notch. It’s clear the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, maintaining a pristine environment throughout the property. 6. Noise Level Despite being in a bustling city, the hotel is a quiet sanctuary. The rooms are well-insulated, and the resort grounds are peaceful. You can completely relax without any disturbance from the outside world. 7. Service The service here is world-class. Every staff member I encountered was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. However, I would like to give a very special and heartfelt thank you to Nitik Parwani from the Concierge team. Nitik was exceptional. His local knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine desire to ensure we had the best possible experience truly stood out. He provided fantastic recommendations and handled every request with a smile and efficiency. He is a tremendous asset to your hotel. 8. Amenities The amenities are fantastic. The private beach area is a lovely escape, and the multiple swimming pools are well-maintained and perfect for a dip. The variety of restaurants and bars on-site cater to every taste, and the private marina adds a touch of exclusivity. Overall I highly recommend the Sheraton Grand Doha for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and well-located stay in Doha. I will definitely be returning, and I hope to see Nitik again upon my next visit

We are coming to this hotel for the third time. We first stayed here in 2024, then in 2025, and now we have returned again in 2026. The rooms are very spacious, the entrance lobby is impressive, and the outdoor area—with the beach, the pool with jacuzzi, and the park—covers a large surface, which is a major advantage compared to similar hotels in Doha or the UAE (which either have no beach at all or only a small, often crowded one). The restaurant is excellent. We usually book half board, both for convenience and for variety, because the buffet offers food for every taste, from sushi to local and Asian specialties. The staff is extremely attentive and polite, and the food is of exceptional quality. Unlike more recently built hotels, where the windows cannot be opened and guests are forced to stay in air-conditioned rooms all the time, the rooms in this hotel have spacious balconies. These allow the luxury of reading or having a coffee in the open air, or even sleeping with the balcony door open during periods when the outside temperature is very pleasant and air conditioning can therefore be avoided. For us, this is an important criterion when choosing a hotel. The fitness club is also very spacious, and the training conditions are outstanding. Courtesy and respect for guests are clearly a top priority here, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a vacation in awesome conditions.

This Sheraton hotel is located by a beautiful seaside with stunning views, making people reluctant to leave. The facilities are luxurious and the rooms are warm and cozy. All the staff provide excellent service. Shamin from the Housekeeping Department deserves special praise for his meticulous and thoughtful room service every time. In addition, the breakfast staff are also worthy of commendation—one of them walked a long way to get me two packs of matches and came back with a smile on his face.

Hotel overall is nice. Very good vibe. The food in the restaurants is not great and prices are very high for what you order.
