Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel

This is a stunning hotel with exceptional service from the moment you arrive. On arrival we were greeted warmly, efficiently and professionally. We stayed during Ramadan which meant some bars and restaurants were closed in the hotel however it did not affect our holiday or enjoyment. The restaurants - the food was amazing - delicious, varied and plentiful. Both were self serve buffet style however there were always servers to assist. Special mention to our breakfast servers Arailym, Sandra, Rayesh and Kristien. Extra mention to Aymen who provided that tiny bit extra in service - thank you to all of you. The beach and pool - a lovely beach with very comfy beds and water provided in a cool box - a great touch. Thanks to Hussien who always set our towels out for us each morning. There was also SPF50 suncream available if you run out. The rooms - we had a gorgeous seaview room - thanks to our housekeeper Gamshal who serviced our room to exceptional standards each day. Location - the hotel is conveniently located about 25 minutes drive from the airport. It is also at the end of The Corniche which is a lovely safe space for a long walk/run/scooter. There were also plenty of boats going into the bay in the evening. It’s a perfect hotel for an easy week in the sun with exceptional service and food!

We are returning guests to this hotel, and we enjoyed it once again tremendously. This is the first 5 star hotel in Doha, and you can feel its importance and history anchored deep within. The hotel has this charm, yet they keep carefully updating and renewing, hence, all is top-notch, yet it has this charm. We appreciate the attentiveness of the staff across the various departments of the hotel which is just outstanding, to name a few: Executive Lounge: Qayyum, Hazal, Suraj, Gita - thanks a lot for your fantastic service combined with a delicious food offering in the lounge all days we were there. Al Hubara restaurant: Lijo, Rajesh, Aye, Olya, Cheynived, Rayana and check Marouane - thanks for the wonderful service and the delicious food offering. We were welcomed by Dhylatov at reception and treated with a wonderful room (Rabina took good care of us). Overall, we enjoyed the time at the Sheraton and we will surely plan another visit.

Went there to experience Omali dish. It taste great and ambience was beautiful. Must visit place with friends and family. Thanks to Miss Rose for her brilliant services. She is a good host, keep it up

It was my birthday and Saikiran H,K made it feel special by decorating my room. I felt so loved even without asking. Ajit Ayoob and Muhamad Cynthia also gave my friend and I free complimentary mocktails after indulging me in some table tennis (which I won by the way)..lol

Served by Marwane the speciality of the house: the Umm Ali. She has been very kind and the quality of her service is high, it was very nice. Thanks for it.
