The best 14 days on our holiday ! Staff is fantastic and always is close to you! Food was fantastic , swimming pool clean and beach was always clean and people working hard to keep clean ! Here is 3 a la carte restaurant the fabulous is Le Gourmet where was more than amazing experience ! La pescador is another option for fish selection where is good food ! La caprice is good food ! But you never forget diners a Le Gourmet this place for me and my daughter was fantastic! Please not hesitate to to spend holiday here . Ocean 🌊 water not very clear on this time but we spend time to swiming pool !

We have spend 2weeks holidays with family for our birthdays in this Very beautiful resort first time in Romana but not first time in Grand bahia resorts so : ..food excellent with lots of choices every day .pool large with lots of sunbeds rooms large and clean every day a la carte restaurants is ok but not briliant .reception polite smiling helpful .Just couple negatives sea is murky but not jely fish when was there , no water sport ',very simple evening shows .

I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. When you pay a significant amount of money for a holiday, you expect to just relax and unwind. I can easily overlook minor hotel flaws, but the immensely unfriendly staff completely ruined the vacation. To be fair, there were a couple of positives: the food was actually good, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable. Unfortunately, that is where the good things end. The problems started with our room. First, we found a huge cockroach, which was completely unacceptable. On top of that, the door lock was an absolute nightmare—it only worked half the time. We constantly had to walk back to the reception for new key cards. Their standard excuse was always that we must have put the card next to "something magnetic" in our pockets. Eventually, we had to carry three different cards with us just to avoid the endless trips to the front desk. To prove it wasn't a "magnet" issue, a card that failed to open the door would magically work 20 minutes later. The locks are simply garbage. The daytime facilities were equally disappointing. Many of the toilets by the pool couldn't even be flushed, and unlike the evening shows, the daytime poolside entertainment was extremely weak and boring. However, the biggest letdown was the service. Even though the food was nice, the staff at both the bars and the buffet were incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. What makes it even worse is that despite their terrible attitude and providing zero hospitality, they still brazenly expected tips for absolutely nothing. Save your money and go somewhere else where guests are actually valued. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at Bahia Principe La Romana Explorer and truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with great service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our trip unforgettable. A very special thank you to Albania, the hotel manager, for her outstanding leadership and attention to detail, and to Yadel, the front desk/client service manager, for his professionalism and kindness. Christopher at the front desk was also extremely helpful and made check-in and any requests smooth and effortless. At the buffet restaurant, Juan and Karly were exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and ensuring that every meal was a pleasant experience. We also want to sincerely thank the entire animation team for their incredible energy, professionalism, and dedication. They truly went above and beyond every day to put a smile on our faces and make the entertainment fun and engaging. The only small downside we would mention is the beach and water quality. There is a nearby river that flows into the Caribbean Sea, which affects the water clarity and gives it a brownish tone. However, this did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the trip. Despite this minor point, our stay was fantastic, and we highly recommend this hotel for its service, staff, and overall experience. Thank you again for making our vacation so special.
