Because the kids had a good time, I would give 2.5 stars. The food was 1 star. The room was 2.5 and the service was mostly 1 to 2 star. No one was happy to be working. No smiles. Just felt like it was a bother to ask for service. There are no servers that come to you at pool or beach. You stand in line to get drinks. The machines did not freeze and the ice was half frozen so beer and wine (one choice for white and red) was what we stuck too. The lobby had one bar that would use their blender for better drinks and did a good job with martinis. The towel situation was bothersome (you get one card per person and lost towel or card is $20 at checkout) I kept good track but it was a pain when they ran out or closed because you had to drag your one towel around with you. Overall, subpar. I was surprised that they were pushing time share sales. Property was dated but rooms were mostly clean and bedding was ok. We slept. It was more like glamping and not resort-style we have become accustomed too in Punta Cana. Standout Employees were Yudy at reception and Angelica in the Greek-themed restaurant. They were 5 star!

Hotel is not 5 starts more like 2 to 3 max Rooms with mold . Central ac smells terrible may be mold inside too harmful for you health Hotel is not clean / buffet is not clean some days you find dishes with grease Food is the same everyday. Main concern they keep moving food from one buffet the other everyday concern about food poison is the most and AI already state cases has been filed in march an April 2026 Hotel is really outdated and can’t be compared with other in the area Restaurant food is not good like Brazilian El Rodillo meat is dried . Selection of Argentinian chorizo form Mexican restaurant they give you 4 winners Beach is not bad but not like babaro or bayahive some days can be pretty windy Staf member are really tired with the conditions they work and is reflected daily. We speak Spanish and after talking with them all agree this is not a good hotel they just need to work Not recommend hotel if you have children and like water park are plenty better ones Also pool is not clean

Lovely resort and facilities, just a shame when it comes to service when dining in the restaurant and trying to get drinks at the bar. It seems that guests seem to be a burden on staff. Constantly having to request drinks at the table and when it comes to getting drinks at the bar there isn’t enough staff serving. Beach bar has around four bar staff but only one working. Currently still on vacation here so, can only hope the second week gets better.

This resort is marketed as a 5-star all-inclusive property. Based on my experience, it does not meet that standard in any meaningful way. The issues were consistent, systemic, and impacted every part of the stay. ⸻ Service The overall level of service was poor and fell well below expectations for an international resort. Staff were consistently inattentive. At the buffet, it was common to wait 10–20 minutes just to be served water, which is a basic expectation. Guests were not proactively attended to and instead had to repeatedly approach staff for even simple requests. Bar areas were frequently overwhelmed. Staff were unable to manage the number of guests, resulting in long wait times and disorganization. Across the resort, service felt rushed, reactive, and understaffed. Communication was also a barrier. Most staff spoke very limited English, typically only basic words such as “water” or “bathroom,” making even simple interactions difficult. Many staff members appeared visibly burned out, which further impacted the overall service experience. Room service was not included and required additional payment, which is below expectations for a resort marketed as 5-star all-inclusive, where complimentary room service is typically standard. ⸻ Food & Dining Food was one of the most disappointing aspects of the stay. The buffet lacked variety, with approximately 95% of offerings repeating daily. The quality was consistently low: • Poor cuts of meat • Limited protein options • Heavy reliance on potatoes and carbohydrates • Bland, overcooked, and often mushy food • Very few authentic local dishes Cleanliness was a serious concern. Every plate available had visible baked-on residue and film from improper dishwashing and this was daily and constant. This was reported, but no meaningful corrective action was taken. Additionally, fruit appeared unwashed and visibly dirty. Food was not always replenished consistently, requiring guests to arrive early for full selection. À la carte restaurants were slightly better in taste but still flawed. Portions were small, and wait times between courses were excessive. On one occasion, guests were required to wait in the rain before being allowed into a restaurant. The Brazilian restaurant was particularly underwhelming and inauthentic, offering items such as chorizo and chicken wings rather than a proper Brazilian-style experience. Despite being advertised as all-inclusive, some higher-quality dishes required additional payment. Dining logistics were also restrictive: • No 24-hour food service • Buffet operated on limited hours • Restaurants required booking days in advance • Late-night food was low quality and carb-heavy ⸻ Facilities, Beach & Rooms Pools were clean and regularly maintained, which was one of the few positives. The beach, while large, was poorly managed: • Not enough loungers for guests • Many loungers were dirty or in disrepair • Little staff presence outside of the bar • Garbage and empty cups frequently left around The overall beach environment felt chaotic and unclean rather than relaxing. Rooms were in poor condition: • Bathtub was present but not usable • Reading light fell apart when adjusted • Nightstand drawer fell apart when opened • Old food (pizza) from previous guests was found in the closet • TV had an erratic signal Housekeeping was inadequate: • Sheets were not changed, only the bed remade • Cleaning was superficial • Towels were inconsistently replenished • Minibar was not reliably restocked Comfort was also lacking: • No proper comforter (only a thin covering) • Ceiling fan had one overly strong setting Amenities were limited: • No accessible hot tub outside the spa • Spa access required additional payment and was small ⸻ Atmosphere The resort is heavily oriented toward families and is not a relaxing environment. • Constant noise from screaming children and parents • Overcrowding and frequent lineups • Chaotic, high-density environment Additional concerns: • Guests visibly intoxicated throughout the resort • Smoking policies not enforced • Cannabis was offered by a staff member Vendors were allowed on the property and used aggressive, predatory sales tactics, including attempts to sell counterfeit jewelry at extremely inflated prices. Guests are also required to wear wristbands at all times, which adds to the impersonal, mass-tourism feel. The resort operates strictly on its own schedule, with limited flexibility for guests. ⸻ Special Needs & Accessibility (Serious Concern) This resort is not special needs friendly, despite being promoted as such. My client is special needs and diabetic. Every day required repeated effort to ensure diet drinks were available, which is a basic medical necessity. Staff repeatedly stated they would stock only diet soda but consistently replenished the minibar with full sugar soda instead. This created a serious health risk. My client, who cannot read, nearly consumed a full sugar drink, which could have resulted in a medical emergency. Multiple complaints were made daily to correct this issue. Despite this, the problem persisted. When raised with guest services, I was informed that providing specific items like diet soda in the room is not accommodated for standard guests and is reserved for VIP packages. This is unacceptable. A resort claiming to be 5-star should be able to accommodate basic medical and dietary needs without repeated intervention. ⸻ Overall This resort does not meet 5-star standards in service, food quality, cleanliness, or overall experience. The issues were not isolated—they were consistent and systemic. This may be suitable for budget travelers seeking a crowded, family-oriented environment, but it is not appropriate for anyone expecting a relaxing, clean, or high-quality all-inclusive experience.

Credit and debit card was stolen out of a wallet that was hidden in our room!
