Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort and Aqua Games

This is by far the best restaurant at this resort. Melki was our chef, and he not only made a great meal, but also put on a great show. Very good and fun!!

Quickest easiest check in to a hotel i have ever had and they take your bags to your room for you. The rooms are fine and what i liked was the switches on each side of the bed did the same thing so if the other half wants the fan on or the fan off they have their own button. USB sockets as well. Could do with a few more hangers in the wardrobe where there is an easy to use Safe. Bathroom just needs a good spray with Cillit Bang and that would make it sparkly. The ceiling fan is a welcome addition and a long duster wouldnt go a miss. Did any of this bother us no not really it wasnt that bad. Lovely beach though it was windy when we were there in early Feb so we only used it twice - it was more sheltered and quite in the water park - its another climate up there. Concierge are everywhere chugging (Clip Board Holding Muggers) they are trying to persuade you to have a VIP breakfast. They do their hunting under the covered walkways to the accommodation so avoid those and you avoid the snipers. They sit in their little conservatories all day and dont look like they have much to do - shame they cant help run the restaurants. Two Buffet self serve restaurants - absolutely fine as good as it gets in a resort this size. Service is hit and miss but i had to keep reminding myself i am on holiday whats the rush? The A La Cart - i hoped for a lot more we, like others, walked out of most of them as the service is just so bad. Bars - we mainly used the mixology bar and didnt have any issues here or in any of the other bars. Given the wind/cloud and rain we did spend time in the water park - great for sunbathing and quite and relaxing - its so clean up there and the staff are excellent and keen to keep it that way. Food behind glass - no flies no birds no drama! WiFi - amazingly good - i mean its spot on everywhere. Location - its on the Atlantic side so its a bit choppy - i think for me i might like to try the Caribbean sea side of the island next. Checkout - again spot on. Summary We had an excellent time, not kidding one of the best all inclusive we have been on and it was just what i expected, two weeks of pure relaxation - just what the doctor ordered.

We went with 10 adults and 6 children all 4 and under. We had an absolute blast! The pool has both a deep and shallow end. The kids had their floaties and enjoyed the deeper side mostly. The ocean was absolutely beautiful. Rooms are fine, cleaned and restocked daily. We personally had the family suite and it was great! Lots of space. We had buffet often with no complaints we also did Japanese and it was super fun! The kids and adults loved the show and the food. Route 66 was very meh, I would skip it if I went again. The cafe is great, ice cream and coffee. The food truck was great with night time french fries. We had nothing but friendly and great service. If you are kind to them, they are kind to you. The beach hut bartender was amazing, great mojitos and great times ! Water park was good! Our kiddos didn’t love it so we didn’t spend much time there. A large resort, but everything is also close enough. Magic show was super fun, the kids loved it! Would I go again, no. I don’t really go places twice. But I would definitely recommend.
