Ocean Blue & Sand

I’m gonna start off the review by saying Lieser the bartender at the Sports Bar by Route 66, was the best! He made my stay so enjoyable and honestly was the main reason why I gave this resort a three star since in every other aspect it’s lacking. Let me start off by saying it’s not worth the price you pay. The pool closes at 7, we got kicked out. The food here is terrible, the buffet food was always cold and lacked flavor. There are two good restaurants the steakhouse and the hibachi but you have to book them but they were always booked since “privilege” a premium package you must purchase gets first pick. Then at 7:30 you have the option to book. Route 66 another restaurant gave me pathetic food, didn’t even look cooked. There are barely any night activities, the beach was nice but we went during august which had a lot of seaweed. Housekeeping did a really good job and restocks your fridge with drinks. Overall, I would not recommend this resort, I honestly was so happy to leave to do excursions since this place was lacking.

The gentleman named Lieser, who is the bartender at the Sports Bar, was by far one of the best parts of our stay. He was friendly, accommodating, fun, and upbeat every single day, and he made the best drinks at the resort. He truly made our hotel experience so much better and is the main reason I’m giving this resort three stars—otherwise, my rating would have been even lower. If you stay here, I highly recommend stopping by the Sports Bar to see him. He goes above and beyond and is a huge asset to the hotel.

Lieser was incredible at the sports bar right next to route 66. He was super accommodating & made my time and experience here 10x better. He’s an amazing person & an even better bartender. My time here wasn’t the best but he made it worth it.

It was great raynier and Daniel from the privilege pool bar was excellent. They would always go an extra mile to help us out with whatever needed. Food was great. Specially hibachi and steak house. Room was always clean great cleaning service

Fantastic service in pool Privilege area from Daniel De La Rosa and Rayner Guerrero. Nothing too much trouble for either of them!
