Royalton Punta Cana, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino

Booked through TUI in UK Stayed all inclusive in main hotel On arrival at the resort we were met with a welcome drink and shown to reception to check in . Our cases were whisked away 😁There was only 6 of us waiting to check in so didnt take long. Obtained wristband ( which is your room key) and were taken to our room by a lovely lady from guest services who showed us some amenities on the way . She asked if we were happy with room and asked for my mobile number so i could tx her for anything i needed. I had emailed ahead to inform them it was our anniversary and they had put a happy anniversary banner on the door and had rose petals strewn around. The room was clean and modern with a good size bathroom with shower. Very clean but showing some signs of age. Good air con and fridge, had clothes steamer, robe and slippers, safe and huge tv. USB Ports by bed and a couple of sockets in room. Fair sized balcony overlooking steak house Facilities were excellent , two pools , one with swim up bar right on the beach- the beach is fantastic , and we are not beach people ! Stunning ! And steps away from the hotel- kayaks and snorkel gear available at no extra cost Food was ok/good- not exceptional- but you wont go hungry The buffet always had something you would like - live cooking stations daily at breakfast for eggs and , omelettes, - lunch and dinner chicken , steak , pork cooked to order and a made to order pasta station Coffee shop was good for sandwiches, pastries , and ice cream throughout the day The food truck near the beach bar fid fantastic burgers and hot dogs etc from 12 midday Al la cart restaurants were bookable through the Royalton app which worked well for us throughout our 14 night stay - only once i could not get a reservation and i tx the guest service lady who got me the reservation i wanted Drinks were great at every bar The use of the sister hotel next door was a bonus- the waterpark was a 3-4min walk ( or you could take the trolley) snd we could use our all inclusive in every bar snd restaurant there We used their pools snd bars and the buffet numerous times- this s is also a beautiful property The grounds are immaculately kept and if your lucky you will see the giant iguanas which hang out on the path between the two properties We had a fantastic rep with TUI- Jennifer- what a kind and positive person she is, a credit to TUI and the Dominican Republic ! Only reasons i gave 4 out of 5 Rooms dated - in need of freshen up Food ok - average Service - hit and miss , mini bar not restocked on a few occasions, and some servers surly - no smile , like it was an effort to serve us On the whole loved our stay and Dominican Republic Thanks Royalton 😁

Location = Excellent Atmosphere = Excellent Room = Good- need more towel hooks Value = Good Cleanliness = Excellent Noise Level = Great Service = OK - This is the biggest area of improvement/opportunity. Amenities = Good, need more AC at the Sports bar and Casino This place was amazing and the views fantastic. Great value. I'm going to elaborate on the Service here and why it's 4/5 rating overall - several moments made my Wife and I feel as if the staff was inattentive, ungrateful, bothered, and disengaged. From Bartenders at the Beach Bar not paying attention to you, to several times Staff not saying Good Morning/Good Afternoon/Good evening or even responding back when prompted...English or Spanish... At the ice cream shop, I asked to sample two flavors of ice cream to decide which one, one of the staff told me I was limited to only 1 sample per person....? I am sure that's not a policy, she's just inventing on the spot...it's all inclusive! I can have as many samples as I want.... Upgrades & Late Checkout - My wife and I are Bonvoy Platinum and Gold respectively, we let them know on our first day it was a short honeymoon and would appreciate an upgrade. We were told we would hear back on a decision. No decision was made and no follow up either... On our last day, I was asking for a complementary late checkout. Took 2 phone calls and an unpleasant conversation in the lobby to get it. Usually without a question we can get it until 12p. The best service was given to us by a Bartender at the Hideaway Beach Bar...Mr. Viejo Antonio - if it wasn't for Mr. Antonio, I'd have been disappointed overall in the staff. I will say there were some other notable mentions: waiters at the grand buffet and Grazie, Agnes and Jordania in the Spa... a handful of the staff were lovely. Even at the reception on our first day and the guy that drove us around the campus with a golf car to our Hideaway reception. It's a shame a few bad apples can almost spoil the whole basket.

I would not rate this resort as a one but it’s the least I can choose. Awful service and totally misleading staff. Got charged an extra $1411 dollars to upgrade but the upgrade was worthless. Asked for my money back and was told it takes 21days what a total sham. Very poor awful service on all accounts

Great hotel with great facilities. Nice beach close by. Above all we had a great butler Johnny.

Titanium member treated like a regular guy I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share my honest feedback regarding my experience. While I understand that many guests may enjoy the hotel for a casual all-inclusive vacation, my personal experience as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member was disappointing. One of the reasons I chose your property was because it is associated with Marriott, and I expected a level of recognition, service, and hospitality consistent with the Marriott standards I have experienced at many other properties around the world. Unfortunately, during my stay, I felt that my loyalty status was not acknowledged in any meaningful way. The treatment and overall service felt very limited compared to what Titanium members typically receive at Marriott-affiliated hotels. I did not feel valued as a loyal customer, and that was very disappointing. The hotel itself has positive aspects, and I understand why some travelers may enjoy it. However, for guests who are accustomed to the service standards and elite recognition associated with Marriott Bonvoy, the experience may not meet expectations. Because of this experience, I personally would not choose to return to this property in the future. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve the experience for loyal Marriott members moving forward. Sincerely, Jesus
