My family and I recently stayed at Royalton Splash Punta Cana, and we had an amazing experience from beginning to end. As a Prime Member, I truly appreciated the extra benefits, personalized service, and attention to detail that made our vacation even more enjoyable. A special thank you goes to Miguel Toro, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Miguel was professional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our vacation. His dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out and made us feel valued and welcomed. The resort itself was beautiful, clean, and full of activities for both adults and children. The water park was fantastic, the food options were plentiful, and the staff throughout the resort were courteous and helpful. The Prime Member amenities added an extra level of comfort and convenience that enhanced our overall experience. What impressed me most was the level of customer service. Whenever we needed assistance, Miguel and the team responded quickly and with a genuine desire to help. Experiences like this are what make guests want to return year after year. I highly recommend Royalton Splash Punta Cana, especially for families and Prime Members looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable vacation. Thank you again to Miguel Toro and the entire Royalton team for making our stay so special. We look forward to coming back soon!

Where to start…… my partner and I booked this hotel via TUI for our honeymoon, what we were sold by TUI in comparison to the reality of the hotel is completely different. The hotel is meant to be 5 stars and the experience we’ve had has simply not amounted to anything that a 5 star hotel should. Firstly, the beach is gorgeous and not something we will find back home in the UK. The issue with it is that it’s not private and you have sellers attend all the time offering massages cigars etc and the hotel takes no liability for this. Secondly, the food in the restaurants is absolutely poor. The Jade restaurant and Italian have no flavour. The chicken was rubbery at both and the coating on them was soggy and tasted like the meal was microwaved. Teppanyaki, Mexican and Steakhouse were the only restaurants where the food was actually decent. The buffet restaurant was the worst and we stopped going there after a rather large piece of glass was found in one of the meals and the staff at the hotel proceeded to come back with a bowl of green pesto! The response was confusing and there was no urgency from staff or managers on site and we were hoping no one else got seriously injured. Thirdly, the service at the hotel has just been inconsistent and as stated above not one that would be expected from a 5 star hotel. The bathrobes when we arrived were stained. We had no turn down service for 8 days despite being on holiday for 14 days. We only found that out once we made a formal complaint with the hotel about finding glass in our meal. Once we spoke with the manager, and we appreciate the efforts attempted, we were offered to eat the seafood grill restaurant Dorado as a good will gesture. We were happy to try this and to our surprise, when we arrived at the restaurant we were told that there was no booking for us. The waiter called a manager to double check this and it was confirmed that there was no booking for us. It was a real shame as stated above it was our honeymoon and unfortunately the experiences have really tainted it that we can’t call it a honeymoon. This overall just highlighted the poor quality of the hotel and the inconsistencies. Despite it being our honeymoon the hotel did nothing to try and make it a bit more special for us in comparison to what other TUI couples received which was banners on their front doors and a bottle of champagne. It is a real shame we couldn’t have experienced our honeymoon in a same way as other couples have. Overall, the country is amazing and you will not regret going. If you love food just like we do then do not bother booking this hotel.

I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience at Royalton Punta Cana was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other travelers. From the moment we arrived, the resort failed to meet even basic expectations. After check-in, it took approximately 1.5 hours for our luggage to arrive at our room, and we had to call twice to follow up. After a long day of travel, this was an extremely frustrating start to our vacation. When we entered the room, it was not properly cleaned and was missing basic amenities. We were a family of four and were provided only two towels. The following day, after housekeeping serviced the room, they left us with no towels at all. When my daughter went to request towels from the staff responsible for our building, she was turned away. Later, I encountered a housekeeper carrying towels and asked if they were for our room. She rudely handed me two towels and laughed when I explained we needed four, telling me to wait another five minutes. Ultimately, I had to go to the front desk myself to obtain additional towels, causing us to be late for a family event. I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts and have never experienced such difficulty obtaining something as basic as clean towels. On the third day, housekeeping failed to replace our toilet paper. My husband called four times requesting more and was disconnected twice. Once again, I had to walk to the front desk, and a staff member personally accompanied me to obtain toilet paper from the housekeeping staff. The room maintenance was equally concerning. The coffee maker contained old coffee residue and visible mold when we arrived. Despite housekeeping entering our room throughout the week, the coffee maker was never cleaned. We also experienced a serious maintenance issue when part of the bathroom ceiling collapsed. It took approximately two days before the damage was repaired. Dining was another major disappointment. The resort advertises multiple restaurants, but we discovered that making reservations for larger groups was nearly impossible unless you were staying in the Diamond Club section. Only after multiple complaints did management agree to accommodate our family with two separate reservations. At the steakhouse, I was served a steak that was raw. At the buffet, coffee was repeatedly unavailable because staff claimed the machines were broken. We also observed flies around food stations, which raised additional concerns regarding cleanliness and food safety. Another disappointment was the condition of the beach. While I understand that seaweed is a natural occurrence in Punta Cana, it was obvious that the resort was making little effort to clean the beach areas available to most guests. Throughout our stay, large amounts of seaweed remained piled along the shoreline, making it unpleasant to walk on the beach or enter the water. What was particularly frustrating was that neighboring resorts appeared to have their beaches cleaned regularly, and even the Diamond Club section of this same resort had a noticeably cleaner beach. However, the beach areas available to the majority of guests were left covered in seaweed. For a resort that promotes its beautiful beachfront location as one of its main attractions, the lack of maintenance and unequal treatment of guests was very disappointing. Customer service throughout the resort was inconsistent and, at times, rude. During one buffet dinner, a staff member aggressively approached our children and questioned what they were doing while they were simply getting food. In my opinion, the overall experience fell far short of what is advertised on the resort's website. The accommodations, cleanliness, maintenance, customer service, and dining experience did not reflect the standards one would expect from a resort in this price range. We traveled to Punta Cana to enjoy a family vacation and family event. Instead, we spent much of our time tracking down towels, toilet paper, and basic services that should have been readily available. I cannot recommend this resort and would strongly encourage travelers to consider other options if they want a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
