Royalton Splash Punta Cana Resort & Spa

We had an amazing stay at Royalton Splash Punta Cana! The property was beautiful, the staff was wonderful, and the events and activities were so much fun. The Vibe Team really made the experience special. A huge shoutout to Miguel — he was friendly, energetic, and always made sure everyone was having a great time. He is truly the best entertainer! His personality and energy made our stay even more memorable. We absolutely loved our experience and can’t wait to come back! 🌴☀️ 🇩🇴

The experience here was great, and the service was excellent. The rooms were not the best, but overall, they were good. The restaurants were okay. Overall, an excellent experience. The location is very nice, and the place is clean. Over all Very good.

We've had a great stay here.. the rooms are big, with lots of room for the three of us. The entertainment team "The Vibe Team" were great, lots of different things to do and there was no pressure in joining in which we've always experienced on other holidays. Andy introduced himself to us on the first day and was good fun alongside his colleagues. Andy's also very knowledgeable about whats going on around the hotels. The great thing about the Royalton's is the use of both hotels, which are only a 5 minute walk away or a 2 minute bus ride (laid on by the resort) . Looking forward to the shows as well.. Oh yes one other thing, my son has a lot of allergies but we want to experience the Zen restaurant so we explained what they are and they suggested he doesnt eat the food, however they took his order (chicken and chips) and they bought it to the restaurant so he could experience it with us. Great work!!

I really wanted to like this resort. We are Bonvoy loyalists and like to stay in hotels in the Marriott system. The service and the food was so inconsistent though. We booked Diamond Club, and I will say that our butler and other Diamond Club-specific staff were really great. Many of the other staff were not terribly friendly or helpful though. It’s a shame that the service offered is not consistent and based on how much money you put in. We stayed in a family room, which met our needs but had some drawbacks. First, there’s no chairs in the rooms, despite there being room for at least 2-3 throughout the room. Second, there needs to be a door at the opening of the bathroom area to create more spaces for privacy/changing. Third, the rooms are in desperate need of a really good deep cleaning and a coat of paint. The rooms just felt so unclean and dingy. Fourth, the walls are paper thin and folks who take advantage of unlimited drinks are really loud - not a good combination. We’ve stayed at other Royalton properties before and it seems they all follow a common theme of just being average, but charging above-average pricing. We’re going to need to try other resort options in the future. The food: the buffets were not great. Edible but cold food and not very tasty. Our butler was able to get us into all the sit-down restaurants for dinners and those are much better. Zen is the best one. Pool/beach: Splash is about a 15 minute walk from the beach and there’s a nice Diamond Club area at the beach with plenty of chairs. The pools on the Punta Cana side were very crowded but helpful bar service. We mostly stayed at the smaller Diamond Club pool at Splash where we were always able to find chairs. Once the bartenders/waiters know who you are (e.g., you’ve tipped well previously), they’re helpful and attentive. But not until you get a chance to tip. The Splash water park was fun, but we only went once. Not a good enough reason to stay there.

First night here and worst nightmare and service this is far from a five stars hotel I would give two stars Never been served like this, we purchased the diamond and we are treated like we are nothing Never again
