Royalton Splash Punta Cana Resort & Spa

We had pre-booked and paid for our rooms as we had a big group pf people and wanted to all be close together but when we got here, we didn't get the rooms we chose and it took forever to get it somewhat sorted out. Didn't get it completely sorted out until the second day. We asked for a refund for the first night as we didn't get the jacuzzi room we upgraded to until the second night but still after a month, have not got that refund. The surf and turf restaurant was awful. The steaks were all fat and the fish etc was gross. We all went to the buffet after. Never did get into the steakhouse al a carte as every time we had a reservation, we waited forever to get in so we ended up leaving. Our friends went and the restaurant was out of a bunch of the stuff. Buffets were okay and the hibachi al a carte was really good!! Almost everyone in our group got sick at some point as well. The butler was very helpful and the rooms were fairly clean but would definitely never stay here again!

We came for a week with family and had a great time, we went to the Belin bar in the evening and Alexandra gave us the most warm welcome, she took care of us every night and made us laugh. Her service was brilliant and she is such a kind soul. Would highly recommend, only negative is that the music can be really loud making it hard to have conversations in certain areas of the hotel

The food was really really good. This is our second time here and we are already looking forward to our next visit. The people are very nice and the atmosphere is just right.

Old room, old bathroom, old and dirty bed linen, old towels, bad food at many places, the worst at the Selections( sorry but we try only once and we didn’t come again). Best thing we was have is beach area at the diamonds club( excellent service and guys at the bar TOP), beach is nice and sandy.The second good thing is Splash water park. No 3 is buffet at Royalton Punta Cana Gourmet. The worst experience and bad service at the Sands beach bar, we rent Cabana with extra charge and waiter was very drunk to serve us, he come after 1 hour, he throw on me bottles with water, ice cubes….he talked to us very bad, such a big behavior. He drank beers behind the camera in seconds. I would say not all inclusive hotel, because we paid a lot for many things , for example New Year table( 1000 dollars and they try to put you on high plastic chairs, 5 people), we pay for Cabanas , stake house ( but stake not included 🙂), we pay for butler( the only difference is - quick response for anything you need, he solve everything. My family went to Punta Cana Royalton Splash resort. We had a great time and everything was amazing. The Staff, restaurants, pools, and bars were clean and well organized. The waterslide fun park was very fun and the adults and the kids enjoyed it what a great feature for a resort. Most importantly our Butler service was excellent. Edwin made our experience so much better. He took care of our family all week and he was very well versed in everything we asked of him. Edwin gets a 10 STAR rating from our group of 2 families.
