Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana

The best place to stay @ Bavaro Beach. great clean beaches, wonderful pools and nice clean rooms. you wont be disappointed. Friendly staff, everyone was wonderful, happy and smiling. we will be back!

Highly recommend this resort. I went with my husband and from the moment we arrived we were blown away by how absolutely gorgeous everything is. The entire experience felt elevated, relaxing, and so well put together. The staff truly made the trip unforgettable. Everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made us feel so taken care of the entire time. We booked the Preferred Club and it was 100 percent worth it. Having access to quiet areas of the beach and pools when we wanted to relax, along with lively pools with music and entertainment when we wanted more energy, gave us the best of both worlds. There are also so many restaurant options, so every night felt like a new experience. Our butler Marcos Ramirez was outstanding. He was beyond attentive, always available, and made everything seamless. No matter what we needed or asked, he handled it right away and made our stay feel effortless and special. The entertainment was also such a highlight. We took a sushi class that was so much fun and something different to try together. We also did a Bachata class with Flower and she was incredible. Her energy is unmatched. She made everything so fun, kept everyone engaged, and truly added something special to our trip. The bar staff were just as amazing. Julio Pio at the Preferred Bar makes the best margaritas and espresso martinis and brings such a fun and upbeat vibe every time you see him. Julio at the Preferred check in, with the black glasses, makes an amazing old fashioned and is just as impressive. Vincent at the Preferred beach kept the good vibes going and made every moment even more enjoyable. This was our first time in Punta Cana and at this resort, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The beach was kept incredibly clean at all times, and the constant staff presence made us feel safe and taken care of wherever we went. What stood out even more was how friendly everyone was, they remembered our names right away, which made the experience feel so personal and welcoming. We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to coming back.

We just got back from our fourth visit to this resort and I wanted to give our review. We went from Tuesday to Sunday. The check in: we were preferred. We went right into the preferred lounge and had a seat. We were offered food and beverages and had a smooth check in. Our bags were taken and we were given a ride to our room. We had a private pool. It was a little chilly the first day, but we used it a handful of times and it was very pleasant to sit and read in. The food: delicious! We had breakfast at Olio each day. I love sitting in the open air and watching the beach. The staff is all so attentive and works hard to make sure you want for nothing. We also had lunch here most days. Everything we had was delicious! Dinner: we would normally eat at Olio most nights on past visits but they were closed at night for renovations and the night we left reopened as Oceana. So we never got to try that. We went to the Patio for Mexican one night and had beef tacos and veggie fajitas - both so yummy! We went to Himitsu two nights. We never sat at a hibachi table but ordered off the regular menu both nights. We tried several appetizers and different entrees. The chicken pad Thai was delicious! And the Yaki-Udon was so good my husband ordered it both nights. We also had dinner at Bluewater grill. The salmon dinner was great and so was the Seafood Brochettes. Our friends ordered both steaks on the menu and said they were fantastic. The grounds are impeccable. We would walk every morning and they were always out sweeping, trimming trees, picking up, and doing so much grounds work. We sat through a UVC presentation in exchange for a 50 minute massage. The massage was incredible and came with 60 minutes in hydro therapy. That includes: a cold shower, steam room, & sauna. Then a walk on stones with cold water spraying your feet and legs, a cold plunge in a 65° pool, a hot tub soak and then a dip in the regular pool with different water massagers before laying on a Bali bed with a cool wet cloth on our faces. 10/10 recommend this! I am an early riser so I would wake up by 7 each day and then head out to find our seats for the day and then just lay and read for an hour+ until it was time for our walk and breakfast. People definitely do save chairs with towels and then walk away immediately but we never had any issues finding a space to relax for the day. The servers and bartenders are all great! We loved Daniella and Fanny Luz the most at the preferred pool and lazy river. They work their butts off and reality enjoy what they do! The bartenders at the preferred bars are also wonderful! Coco Cafe: the coffee and staff is wonderful! They make the best drinks and are the sweetest start to your morning! Our butler was Super Brian! We have had him the last 3 years and he’s been fantastic. We wanted for nothing! He even had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries sent to us one evening. And got us a case of water for our room on our first day!

We love the secrets Brand. The staff is unbelievable. The beach is awesome and the list goes on and on. Every secrets experience feels super familiar in a great way. The only noticeable thing that we were disappointed with on this go around was the quality of food and drink. Since Hyatt has purchased secrets, we have noticed a drop off in the coffee quality, freshness of fruit, juices, breakfast, and mass produced drinks compared to 5 years at Secrets cap Cana. The service of the staff was unbelievable. They are the kindest nicest working people. Anthony and Jose and there correspondents at the Marlin beach bar deserve a raise asap and were exceptionally kind and hard working. Our concierge Amaurys was also very kind and helped us when needed. The rooms are great and super clean. We love the beach, the pool, the people and all the things that make secrets unique. I hope they ultimately improve their food quality… Because it could be a reason that I don’t wanna go back or would go somewhere else.

Beautiful resort for my honeymoon! Very romantic, fun and relaxing. Highly recommend upgrading to the preferred member club. Staff is also amazing, shoutout to Julio Pio he’s the best!
