Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana

Beautiful resort, great food and drinks, sparkling pools and clean beaches. Great nightly entertainment! Friendly staff!

We had such a great time here. First time at this resort. It's beautiful and clean and FUN!! Vibes are awesome. Food is overall very good although we did not enjoy the Mexican restaurant but maybe ordered wrong plates. Loved the buffet and Bluewater grill and the Asian. We had the BEST butler!! Christopher was so friendly and sweet and made sure we had the best time! You can tell he loves his job. He did a great job assisting my husband plan a romantic night for us too. Beach was beautiful and the pools are all so clean and so many!! Also had a great day deep sea fishing. We hooked a swordfish! Really hoping we can return soon to SRB!

My husband and I have just returned from our 7 night honeymoon at Secrets Royal Punta Cana and can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. Firstly, huge shout out to our butler Orlando who ensured he was available throughout the trip if we needed anything. A friendly and genuine welcome to the resort was a great start to the week. We paid for a ‘Preferred Club’ package which was well worth it, giving you access to perks like a butler, some more secluded parts of the outdoor area, as well as a wonderful restaurant Olio, which luckily was right next to our room block. This is a more exclusive option for à la carte breakfast and lunch. The dinner there is excellent too. The food across the restaurants we were able to try (Himitsu and Bluewater Grill) was superb (I would recommend going early (5-6pm) due to it being first come first serve), as was the buffet which we sometimes had for convenience and wider variety of cuisines. In the main pool area they also provided a small buffet of mixed meats / veg which was delicious. The staff - wow! They are the beating heart of this place, and every single person was so helpful and incredibly friendly. Whether it was a waiter/tress, barman, hostess or cleaner, every encounter was met with a smile. We were never without a drink whilst lounging round, thanks to the proactiveness of the pool bar staff. I also cannot express how much fun the entertainment team are (despite it being their job) the highlight being the funniest water aerobics class led by the INCREDIBLE Junior. He also ran a small bingo game later that afternoon which was hilarious. They hosted a wide range of activities which kept everyone thoroughly entertained and moving about. It can get a little noisy by the afternoon, but there are luckily quieter areas if you’re not feeling it. The pool areas are great - you are never short of somewhere to swim or relax. The lazy river and infinity pool are also a perk of Preferred Club. I would recommend getting down early though as by mid-morning it can be a chore to find loungers for the day, but to be expected when the hotel is at full capacity. It is sadly a lottery to get a cabana by the lazy river unless you are lucky or complain to staff about people reserving them with towels early in the morning. We attended most of the show nights at the impressive plaza near reception. The Beyoncé and Queen tributes were phenomenal, along with a fire show, neon and white party. We enjoyed some karaoke at the sports bar late one night which was a good laugh, but the space itself is a little tired and could do with modernising, didn’t take away from the fun though! Being able to walk straight onto the beach was fantastic and there was plenty of choice of loungers. It was a shame we had a few windy days so be prepared to get sandy, however can’t be helped. Some extra things we enjoyed were the spa, which was SO relaxing and well worth it, as well as a reef explorer excursion, all which you can book with the reps in reception or your butler (if Preferred). It is hard to find any faults with the hotel - it was kept VERY clean and our room was super comfy. The jacuzzi bath was a nice touch, however not being able to turn the balcony light off or have a bit more privacy was a shame as I had to bathe in a swimsuit to avoid giving guests a show! Nevertheless, we loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Stayed at Dreams which was previously secrets adults only and have to say new location maybe not as luxurious as we would have expected. However we’ve enjoyed our stay, food good , staff attentive and friendly.Special mention to staff at the Rendezvous bar - in particular Pamela who we felt was outstanding.

Location was awesome. Rooms were very nice. We had a partial ocean view in the preferred club area. The atmosphere is awesome and the value is great . Excellent food at all restaurants lots of activities throughout the day entertainment at night the whole staff from front to back were very accommodating very nice people we are UVC members and this is our fifth year in a row back there
