Sunscape Coco Punta Cana

1000/10 highly recommend, everything you could need or want is right where you need it. Perfect for any occasion whether you’re on a solo trip, couple, or with family. I’m recommending this resort to all my friends!

We had an amazing trip to Sunscape Coco Punta Cana and this was our second time returning to the hotel — which says a lot in itself! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and stress-free, with an easy and efficient check-in process. Our sea view room was absolutely beautiful, the beach was stunning, and the pools were always clean and well maintained. We also had an amazing experience at the spa with a 50-minute couples massage, which was incredibly relaxing and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. A special thank you to Ruth and Rosario at the Sun Club Lounge Bar who truly exceeded our expectations. They were both so kind and friendly and made the BEST cocktails every single day! The staff in the Sun Club restaurant were also fantastic, especially Yeico and Raquel. They made us feel more than welcome from the moment we arrived and you could really see how much pride they take in their jobs. Despite constantly running around and being busy all day, they were always smiling and attentive. We met Yeico last year and he once again treated us like family — something we will always be grateful for and remember. We also want to mention Anthony in La Cala, who is such a lovely person. He was incredibly kind and always made sure we were happy, comfortable, and enjoying our trip. We were in the Sun club both times we visited the hotel so we are unable to comment on the other part of it! ( Deff worth the upgrade ) Overall, we had a fantastic time at the hotel and will definitely be returning again next year!

This resort is HUGE. We were in Sunclub / Family section. It was a walk to the adult pool but it was not a long. The Adult side Sun club was definitely the better side in General but our room on the Family side was larger. The swim-outs were nice but very VERY quiet an no actions so I guess it pends on your preference EDIT TO ABOVE - check before booking rooms as I know they were going to be renovated Food was fine, easily accessible. If you want to book a la carte either book at midnight or wee hours in morning Pools were o.k. Neither here nor there. Chairs never available but to my experience that is every resort -Room, clean. Average Dominican room -Beach beautiful -Good staff - always working -Entertainment - Average Dominican shows -SUNCLUB - meh.... it was nice to be able to order room service and have our own area for drinks. Besides that no perks that were "special" so it depends on how much you want to spend. CONS: The 24 hour sports club is very VERY small for the size of the resort. Really needs to be bigger and have more staff to attend it at night (the staff that was there was great) Our card did not work one night, we walked from one side of the resort to the other to get it reset, walked back....still did not work. Walked all the way back again they reset... again, and we insisted someone come with us. They seemed really perturbed with this. She said someone would meet us there to double check it worked. And....it did not!! I went to the main Hall made someone come and open the door. It was ridiculous This may have changed but it is wasted space in the middle of resort they easily could of added a quiet pool or extend the one they had for more seating. Overall. We would not go back, however if your reading this and find a great deal go for it. It was o.k. for what we paid. There was no standouts but we had no complaints either. As always with a resort this size have a bit of patience . The staff does seem to be working hard!
