Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel

Amazing location. Just in the popular Beau Vallon beach. Nice view from all the restaurants. Indian food in Mahek restaurant is very tasty. The chef in Mahek restaurant Mr. Pauljoe is providing very delicious food. All staff are very cooperative. Rooms are comfortable and some rooms have good views of the ocean. Buffet breakfast ok , but need to provide some more Vegetarian options. Perfect location for watching Sunset .

The hotel is located in a great location on Beau Vallon. The sunsets are magnificent. The staff is amazing. Great value for money.

We had an unforgettable one-week anniversary stay at Coral Strand. While the location, food, and overall experience were excellent, the highlight was Mr. Shihan from Guest Relations. Having traveled to many countries and met numerous guest relations managers, I can confidently say he is truly exceptional. He treats every guest with equal care, goes the extra mile, and ensures every need is met. He organized wonderful surprises for our anniversary and arranged our sightseeing perfectly. He treated us like family, more like a friend and brother. Coral Strand is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee, and I hope management recognizes him as a valuable asset. We would love to return for our next anniversary or holiday to meet Mr. Shihan and the wonderful Coral Strand team again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coral Strand Hotel, the location and beach were excellent. The Asian restaurant food was great as were all the staff. We have to mention the standout staff member Shihan (guest services) who went well beyond his remit when we encountered a problem with our first room and subsequently a cancelled fight with the need for extra night’s stay. His professionalism, knowledge, understanding and efficiency made it all worry free – Thankyou. Superb hotel, beach, location and staff.

Our stay at Coral Strand was truly memorable. The beautiful beachfront location, excellent food, and relaxing atmosphere made our holiday special. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality of the team, whose warmth, and genuine care exceeded our expectations. Especially, Mr. Shihan’s dedication made us feel welcomed and valued every day. For any assistance, guests can approach him at any time without hesitation, as he is always ready to help with a smile. The friendly multicultural staff were equally kind and helpful. I highly recommend Coral Strand and look forward to returning for another occasion or holiday.
