Time well spent out with family on Easter Sunday

We’ve been staying here for almost two weeks, and we’re still here. We’re flying home to Slovakia tomorrow. We’d like to thank the hotel staff for their excellent service; all of your staff are very kind, respectful, and helpful. I would especially like to praise the hotel receptionists, particularly Thea; she is very kind and does her job perfectly. She helped us a lot, since we only know a few words of English. We speak German well. Adil is an excellent chef; we really enjoyed his meals here. The maids are very skilled and hardworking. We felt at home here and are leaving with best regards. Thank you. I have not long returned from a wonderful holiday at the most fabulous hotel with amazing staff that I have been to in a very longtime. The hotel is small and intimate at the same time you are able to relax and chill within your own comfort. The staff are amazing and very friendly and go above and beyond to help you. I ended up staying an additional nine nights due to flights being cancelled and I cannot thank the staff enough for their support and understanding from helping me get medication that I needed to offer offering help with trying to find additional flights and I had accommodation. Even before all this amazing Help I would still have given the hotel five stars. The hotel is very clean and the rooms all faced towards the sea and to hear the waves through the night is something I will always remember. The dining staff are so friendly and both chefs come out and talk to the guests which is lovely. Yordana in the dining room always welcoming to me with a smile and was really kind and helpful, as we’re all the staff but unfortunately, I can’t name everybody. The food for a buffet in the evening is some of the highest quality and tasty I have had in a hotel buffet. Anabelle at the reception was also extremely helpful whilst I was stuck and I cannot thank all the reception staff enough for their kindness. The infinity pool is stunning and kept exceptionally clean. I genuinely fully recommend this hotel for both couples, family and solo trips. Also, as a solo traveller (widow) this was the first hotel who didn’t question or referred to me as just one and that speaks volumes to the customer service and the attention to detail that they have. If you have the opportunity to visit here, look no further than booking this hotel

I have traveled extensively and these days, I normally do not leave any reviews, Good or bad. I felt compelled to leave a review in this case. I understand this is a Doubletree and so I kept my expectations low. However, my expectations were exceeded in a negative way not positive. Mainly this had to do with the service at the bar and the restaurant. It seems the order of the day is “make no eye contact”. I am a travel agent that I was visiting to see several hotels on the island to recommend them to clients. In this case. I cannot recommend. If you are at the bar area and someone serves you a drink and one hour goes by and nobody comes to check on you? This is poor service. It was almost impossible to get the attention of a server. Otherwise, people at the hotel just do not look happy to be there. Not only do they not look happy. They actually look very sad. Does not leave you with a good feeling. Would not return.
