Not a 4 star hotel . Needs updating . Needs pool opening early . Needs more food variety. Entertainment is a bit rubbish . Drinks are watered down .

This place is in a secluded area but within reach of beach and town a buss ride away . Atmosphere calm not many kids I think definitely more adult over 60 rooms clean staff mostly friendly value the main reason we come . Noise level ok everything shuts down at 11 . Food bland repetitive but your find something to eat . Unfortunately unless your over 60 the entertainment is awful the team are friendly but apart from half hour of mini disco for kids there’s little to entertain x on the whole if you’re looking for total relaxation and nothing kid wise this will suffice kids pool good with slides x

The holiday started well, but went a bit downhill as the week went on. Some of it due to the staff and some due to the new intake of people staying. Most of the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, and there were other staff who probably shouldn't be in the hospitality business. I noticed in particular that there was a young lady at the bar by the pool called Laura, she seemed very pleasant at first, then by the end of the holiday, my drinks were being slammed down do hard on the bar, that most of my drink was ending up on the bar, rather than the half a glass of drink I ended up with. I guess you could make some allowances for the girl as she had already carried out a long shift at breakfast before serving at the bar. The final straw was the idiot they put on the snack bar for the past couple of days. We were a group of 4, and wanted 3 burgers and chips. I went to get them for everyone. He said only 2 burgers per person. I said we are a group of 4. So that's 8 burgers, but I only want three. After looking very annoyed that I found a way around his system, I got the the 3 meals (us brits having being getting around these stupid technicalities for years!). Anyhoo, on reflection, if I have paid £3k for an all inclusive holiday with a free bar and snacks by the pool, there shouldn't be a limit placed on what you eat. If I wanted 37 burgers, I'd eat 37 burgers as I have paid for it. Its not like we were taking the micky, asking for 3 meals between 4 people! The tables by the bar area were never cleaned. Luckily we had wet wipes with us. I don't expect to be sitting in areas with with filthy tables from the night before and bird poo all over the chairs that has never been cleaned up. The pool area was brilliant for our child, and maintained very well. The restaurant served breakfast lunch and dinner. The variety and quality of the food was very good. Although, I wasn't as impressed with breakfast. Always the same things out. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. They ordered cabs for us regularly and they always arrived within 2 minutes. They offer a free bus service to the beach, which we did not use. However, its about a 10-15 minute walk. At the beach there are just sun beds, which you can hire at 12 euros per bed and a restaurant. Nothing else is there. The rooms are clean and have a cleaning service. The staff that entertain around the pool area are amazing. They do water aerobics, dancing and games. They always make a point of talking to everyone and making them feel welcome. There is nit much the hotel can do about the people that stay there. It tended to be the Spainsh people staying there that were rude and felt like they owned the joint (i assume they were Spanish, as they had very long conversations with the Spanish staff, who kept telling me 'only Spsnush'). There were old ladies and young children queuing for drinks, only for them to barge straight to the front of the queue and get served. They were also using the children's water slide and not waiting for the children to get out if the way before co.ing down the slide and nearly wiping them out. Despite the no smoking signs up everywhere, people were smoking or vaping. This is not something we wanted our child to inhale. There are a few restaurants and bars around the corner (2-3 minute walk), along with a supermarket). Get you drinks for your room from here, its much cheaper than the vending machines in the hotel. On the whole it was the amazing holiday we dreamed of, that unfortunately, was slightly tarnished by rude staff and the ignorance of other guests towards the end. The whopping great big cockroach that had been stamped on by reception was also a little bit off putting.

For a Hilton Group hotel this hotel (or the staff let it down) The only decent and obliging staff member was the Manger Connor. Everything seemed to be an 'effort' for the other staff members!

The AluaSun Marbella Park hotel is not modern, but it has been renovated and you can see that it is regularly maintained and well cared for. It has all the necessary amenities and is very clean, with daily room cleaning and fresh towels. The area around the hotel is very pleasant, with a park between the hotel buildings. For those who want it, there is a well-kept swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. The restaurant serves good and varied meals, and the staff take great care to ensure cleanliness and comfort. For me, there was one small downside: the mattress was too soft, which made it difficult for me to sleep, but that is a matter of individual preference. The hotel’s location really calls for having a car, especially if you want to go sightseeing rather than just stay at the hotel. It is true that the hotel is well connected by bus, but then the journey takes much longer.
