Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, staff are lovely, short walk to the beach but buses available free of charge, great restaurants a short walk away, highly recommend, will definitely be back

We had a very mixed experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, our stay started quite poorly. The first room we were given, in the older part of the hotel, was really not suitable for a longer stay. It overlooked the motorway, and the noise was constant due to very poor soundproofing both externally and within the hotel itself. The bath in our room didn’t work and, despite reporting it, it was never fixed. After four days, we were moved to a room in the newer part of the hotel, and the difference was incredible—it genuinely felt like a completely different place. That part of our stay was wonderful, although it was frustrating that we only got to enjoy it for just under half of our holiday. One area that really needs urgent attention is food labelling. Dishes labelled as “vegetable” sometimes contained meat, and on one occasion even shellfish, which is potentially very dangerous for guests such as myself with allergies. That said, the food itself was generally quite nice—just the labelling needs to be much clearer and more accurate. The children’s entertainment team were warm, cheerful, and friendly, but unfortunately their level of English wasn’t quite enough to effectively support an upset child, which made things a bit stressful . On a positive note, all of the hotel staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and eager to assist, which made a big difference and improved our overall experience despite the issues at the start. The hotel is also very clean, and the housekeeping team were particularly lovely and attentive. The location is great—as long as you’re away from the motorway side. There are parks, restaurants, and the beach all within easy reach, which we really enjoyed. A couple of smaller points: parts of the hotel are a little worn and could do with updating, and the children’s pool really needs to be heated outside of peak summer months. Overall, we would return—but only with the knowledge of which part of the hotel to stay in. The newer section is fantastic, but the older area really needs significant improvement or repurposing.

Cozy and central hotel, all in all a nice stay

The hotel/resort did not meet our expectations as far as cleanliness and food. Was not a 4 star resort. The room was muggy and it needed a deep deep clean. The remote to the TV was inoperable. On the TV even when you changed the language it still showed the shows in the local language.

The location was a bit out which we knew but the shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. There was free transport to the beach and transport to Marbella Town for only 4 Euros each . The staff were always friendly from reception, restaurant, bar and cleaners. The animation team were really hard working. Lots of games for both adults and children. The shows they put on were a lot of fun. The food was varied, fresh and good. Our room was large and airy with comfortable beds. The place was clean although the public lounge areas could do with a refurb as they are a bit tired.
