Aparthotel Marinas de Nerja

We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at Marinas de Nerja Aparthotel and had a really nice, relaxing time. The hotel was very clean and had a calm, peaceful feel to it. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but a special mention to the restaurant staff who were brilliant with my daughter who has coeliac disease. When we arrived they even gave her a little bag with gluten-free snacks and drinks in, which was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout the stay they made sure her food was cooked separately and even brought out gluten-free cakes and ice cream for her so she didn’t feel left out. It made such a difference knowing they took it seriously. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was great, although the water temperature did change a little at times. The food was tasty with plenty of choice, and the views from the hotel were beautiful. Having the beach right next to the hotel was also a big bonus. Overall we had a great stay and would happily come back again.

Just come back from staying at this hotel. We were told it had dropped from 4star to 3star. In our opinion it should stay as a 4 Star. Amazing hotel, fabulous food, excellent staff and great location. The only thing that may be reason for dropping a star is need some TLC,which they were doing whilst we were there,to get ready for the summer season. Been here before and it was the same this time round. Would definitely go back for a third time.

Don't know who is giving good reviews or 5 stars myself and my partner stayed here from 6th to 11th February and I can honestly say if we could have left early we would The hotel was too far out of town there was nothing in the hotel to do No entertainment in the bar at all drinks were horrible watered down to the last. Food was absolutely rank no taste at all no English selection at all Only lived off few chips every evening that's all we could eat gym was a joke just a small little room with 1 broken treadmill and 1 machine you had to pay extra to use the sauna Staff not helpful some them very ignorant Rooms were clean just single beds rooms not cleaned until we had to ask for them to be done. I could go on but all i will say is we won't be returning there again. Very poor more a 1 star hotel definitely not a 3star.

We had a really lovely time here, everything went really well. The buffet was a hit with the kids everyday and the staff were very attentive. The minute you sat down they would come and take your drinks order. The food was delicious, the pool area was very relaxing and so nice being near the beach. I honestly can’t say anything bad, on our last day maria approached us to do a stretching class which myself and the kids agreed to and it was so much fun and a lovely way to end the holiday. We ran along the prominade in the mornings in the sun and came back to a massive breakfast, what a treat. The mojitos in the bar are delicious but very strong! Be warned 😂 the pool is freezing but that’s normal for February, the kids still jumped in every chance they got! I saw a lady complain about lack of sponges and wash liquid, there’s a supermarket next to the hotel that has most things which we picked up from there for around €3! We hired a car in Malaga and took off sight seeing everyday, the hotel was very convenient for parking and getting around. I would definitely go back. It was lovely to unwind and relax, now we’re home to rainy Ireland but have memories of Nerja for life!

Beautiful hotel beach location, nice rooms, clean, lovely food and very pleasant staff - what is not to like?? We were lucky with the weather after storms the previous week. It was hot and breezy had a very pleasant few days relaxing listening to the sea waves catching some winter sun. Beautiful sun rises and sun sets very pretty. Nice walk along the front to the town which was really pretty with stunning views of the Mediterranean. Food was very nice with daily specials and the staff were very attentive.
