Bakour Oh Nice Costa del Sol

Animation team - fantastic with lots of opportunities for children and adults. Food - brilliant variety, breakfast stopped before 10.30! Room - very basic, shower hanging off the wall and minimal hot water despite being asked to be repaired. Cleanliness - okay. The pool is dirty. Evening entertainment - animation team were great ectrrnal entertainment was dismal. Location - very secluded and rural with no shuttle

So to be fair hotel shouldn't be 4 stars,maybe 3. The room were ok spacious and air conditioned, bed comfy but microwave and phone wasn't working. I reported small repair twice and no one never came. Cleaning service wasn't best but ok. The food is big minus in this hotel. I was in a few 3* and 4* stars in Spain and never complain about food but in Bakour the food wasn't good. Very small choice, repetetive. Veggies and many prepared meals were tasteless, not best quality. Chicken served by cooking guy was undercooked and tasteless. First hotel where there was NO real butter for breakfast/dinner only margarine. Plates at the counters were not filled up regulary. Only bakery products like rolls were realy tasty and fresh. The pool is ok, good size and I really like children could use floates etc. animation teams is great but the pool floor wasn't that clean. There were shattered glass at the bottom in a very tiny pieces which my son showed me, he got cut on his leg when swimming. There were also poo accident, it was found at the bottom of the pool one morning and pool was closed for cleaning for 2 hours. The lady lifequard left pool area in tears after 1h cleaning progress and never come back, other guests been telling people to NOT entry the pool because of the cleaning before reception boy came to replace her. There is not enough sunbeds but I like the lifequard took away people's towels and belongings left longer so other could use sunbeds. Sunbeds are dirty and many broken. The pool area after closing should be clean better. Bar staff wasn't very nice, never smilled, you didnt feel welcomed at the bar, but maybe they were just tired and overwhelmed. Minus is also that you can't pay cash at the bar, card payment only and they are not selling just pizza or just fries at the bar if you are hungry between meals, you need to pay for full snack bar. Hotel location is in residential area, very quiet with nice view but if you don't have a car it is a nightmare. Walking to nearest shop is 20 minutes, back in a heat with heavy shopping like water etc if you don't have all inclusive it take you 30 minutes uphill, by taxi or uber they will charge you around 15euro one way. There is not even small local shop around the hotel and the hotel really should think about small shop with bacis products on site. To be fair hotel has big potential but still a lot should be done to deserve 4 stars.

I stayed here with my family during 1 full week. The room was amazing and fairly clean. The buffet was unbelievable and pretty tasty. Since I came with all inclusive, every drink in the bar had enough quality if you compare with the price. However, the most impressive staff in the hotel are the animation team. I met Oscar and when you are talking with him is like we are friends from a while. Please keep this boy if you want your hotel improve. Definitely we will come back and we recommend the hotel.

We had great time here in hotel bakour. I want to thank to all the workers and staff they are absolutely working so hard all day. Our room was perfect and clean every day. Also i want to thank specially to entertainment team Beyza, Oscar, Irina and Alberto. We loved all the activites in the pool and my daughter really had fun in the Kids club, thank you guys for your energy! We will back!

I enjoyed one week in this hotel with my family. The room was comfortable and tidy. About the buffet, the food is good but they repeat too much. The drinks in the bar for all inclusive are good however you have to wait too much sometimes to take a drink. The best point of the hotel is the entertainment team for kids and adults. We enjoyed our holidays because you have something to do everyday with them darts, rifle shooting, pool party on fridays and much more. We would like to give special mention to Oscar the leader of this amazing team. Thank you we appreciate you energy. We will be back as soon as possible. Definitely I recommend the hotel.
