Bakour Oh Nice Costa del Sol

🚨 HELP NEEDED – HOTEL FIRE WITNESSES/GUESTS We were affected by 2 fires in just 4 days, and we’re now seeing so many guest reviews confirming what really happened. Has anyone else been affected, contacted the hotel/agent, received an apology, explanation or refund? I’d really like other guests/witnesses to come forward and connect with each other. The more people who share their experiences, the harder it is for what happened to be ignored or misrepresented. We’ve been left feeling completely unsupported, with no one even asking how we were after the incidents. If you were there or witnessed either fire, please comment. Thank you and hope your all ok. X

Where do i begin...... First impressions were ok. Good bloke on the reception checked us in fast. Room was a decent size with good air con. No kettle or anything in room so have to rely on machines etc downstairs. The buffet was ok in the restaurant, if you not fussy then you will always find something to eat. Its not the hottest and some items tasted/looked like they could do with a little bit longer. The queues mentioned in many other reviews do happen, however if you are british, this is something we are used to. The pool does get very dirty from the dirt around it as they have set up sunbeds on them. Not the greatest. Didn't bother the kids though. Sunbed wars is most definitely a thing here. People queue up for an hour before it opens. It was quite entertaining to watch. Now for the worst part.... there was 2 fires whilst we were there. One at 1.30am and the other 2 days later at 7pm. It was an absolute sxxt show. No alarms for the first one at all. Apparently they didn't work! The second one, i cant even explain how poorly this was handled. I wouldnt return to this hotel, just purely because it's too far from anything. The fires were just a tad unlucky. Staff need to learn more than just French. (This is definitely more of a French hotel) us british just got in the way. The French guests had no manners and concept of time. Apart from that, if you get a cheap deal, it's worth a couple of days at most.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bakour Oh Nice Costa Del Sol. The staff were attentive and caring, the rooms and public areas spotless, and the food and drinks were consistently excellent. I do need to mention two concerns that the hotel should address: there was a small fire under our balcony in the middle of the night which forced my daughters and me to spend several hours in the lobby while we recovered from fever, and the pool area lacks enough sun loungers with the existing ones in need of replacement. Despite those issues the warm service and high standards of cleanliness and dining made our visit very enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel while hoping they resolve the lounge seating and safety concerns soon.

FIRE 🔥 🔥 WE HAVE STAYED FOR 5 NIGHTS IN 4 DAYS 2 FIRES . THis the worst place I have ever stayed within 24hrs we were woken by other customers alerting us to a fire at 2 am in the morning smoke was engulfing the hallway thanks to 2 Spanish lads alerted everyone as no fire alarm went off . We were talked into staying 4 days later another fire !!!!! The care and attention from staff was terrible do not stay at this hotel we are still awaiting settlement from hotel we have a 15 year old and a 7 year old we had to stay on the balcony of the hotel bar the first night I can't stress strongly enough do not stay at this hotel someone will die there 1 day

2 fires within 4 days simply not good enough first one and second one in same place, hired guards to patrol area for safety, when questioned about the fire laughing with staff behind counter and just utter rudeness from all the staff, do not stay here.
