Stayed at Benalma hotel for 5 days with my husband and two daughters. We chose this hotel as it seemed right for us, what with being in a bit of a quieter area but still only a 20 min drive from the airport and right on the beach. This hotel is light and bright, with a beautiful sea view from all the rooms , the main reception, bar/terrace and restaurant areas. The cleaners work hard here and its clear to see! The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are cleaned every morning. The staff here are all great but I have to give a massive shout out to the pool bar staff. Especially Fabian who is so kind, friendly and extremely hard working. He always has a smile and remembers your order! He is such an asset. The main family pool is good and always had some music playing , which we like. Saturday was great with some extra pool games for the kids and adults! The foam was fun! We didn't go to the more adult pool as it seemed a but too quiet and we were really happy around the bigger family pool. You need your room key card to access the pool and when you re enter the hotel as its gated. Food was always varied and plentiful. The Mexican night was delicious! We didn't get to use the thai or beach side restaurants as we were only there for a short time. I honestly can't say anything bad about this place, other than the lifts are very very slow , so use the stairs as much as you can! The one thing I would love the hotel to look at in the future is the water situation. Only giving little plastic bottles from the bar areas isn't great. Water refill stations dotted around the hotel and pool areas would be a great option and save on all the plastic waste. We are really looking forward to visiting again as a couple and enjoying the lovely sky roof top bar area which we didn't get to this time! Thanks for a lovely stay.
