Ikos Andalusia

We had a great week here. This all inclusive resort cannot be faulted on hospitality, generosity or quality. The grounds are beautiful and expertly maintained, however, there are very few signs helping find your way around and we, like many other guests we saw, often got lost! Perhaps a large but tasteful number sign on each block easily seen from the main paths would have saved elderly feet. We dined at all but one of the restaurants (Fresco) and, after the first 3 days reservations which you are encouraged to make pre holiday, found it very difficult to get time slots which suited us. If you wish to make sure you get the dining reservations you want at the best time for you the only way is to book the Deluxe package as you can then reserve for the whole week. We loved Oliva and Seasons but found the others to be somewhat inconsistent. While the service was always fantastic, the kitchen, in our opinion, sometimes let them down, especially Ouzo. The family concept here is like none other. It caters completely for children of all ages and our daughter & her young family felt very cosseted in this resort with everything they could want easily available when they came last Summer. I highly recommend Ikos, the concept is great, just a few negatives which could be easily resolved.

I love this place!!! Unforgettable! Beautiful people! Wonderful food and drinks! Amazing service! I really loved my time here and want to thank everyone working here fir there service, warmth and kindness. They treated us like royalty. Some staff made you feel like you were the only person at the hotel. Its a lovely experience. Bella did such a thing. Knowing what drinks I liked, engaging. She would walk you everywhere, was very complimentary and so very lovely. She had a wonderful way to make you feel special and cared for. I could see her running that place one day! Very stylish too! Thank you so much!! Fatima, you were a blessing! Always looking out for our family and going that extra mile! Christian in seasons!! Thank you! Too many names worth mentioning guys!! Diana was brilliant too! Thank you everyone. Even the drivers, the gardeners! All smashed it!! Thank you ladies and gentlemen for giving this guy one the nicest weeks 9f his life. The hotels food and wine and stunning and amazing but nothing without you guys being there! Thanks again. One more mention to Bella fatima and lovely people at ikos andalusia. Amazing stay in Ikos Andalusia in May 2026. We stayed for a week and enjoyed all the different restaurants, theater for kids every evening, riding a bike on a golden mile (in fact like 15kms). Such a nice staff everywhere and very helpful. Much more than you expect from 5* hotel. Cannot miss their great approach to food allergy. Vegan menu offered in every restaurant as well as for breakfast and lunch.

I don’t even know where to begin to explain how wonderful our stay was at Ikos. From the moment we arrived, Alexandru greeted us and went over everything walking us to our room. Everyday we received a note on WhatsApp with everything going on throughout the day. The pool was top tier service. Drinks and food at your fingertips. Transfer service was all taken care of within minutes. We felt like royalty. Bella, took her time to ensure everything we wanted/needed, we received and even got us into a steakhouse after not being able to secure a reservation. She also spent time chatting and getting to us. We felt like family while we were there. We will be back for sure! Best honeymoon!

We had a brilliant holiday and will definitely visit again. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated room with great facilities. Well laid out although if I had any suggestion it would be nice to have some lighting above the sofa and on the balcony. Anti slip mats provided when requested and changed cot mattress straight away when needed. The room service is great and the free mini bar. I would personally prefer a caffatiere to pod machine but I am fussy. Great customer service with friendly staff, loved how they interacted with our toddler and were always happy to see him. The e consierge service by WhatsApp is brilliant and you can make bookings and room service orders this way too. Fantastic pools, splash pool and play area for young children with heated swimming pools. Great facilities overall. I would have liked a more traditional yoga class as it was more fitness focused than others but still nice. The shows in the theatre were good for kids, loved that it was outside and the drinks area was nice. I would say service round the pool was a bit slow one day (had to order drinks a few times) but this is in the context of a 5 star resort - great to even have the pool service, and handy to order on phone (shame you can't select decaff on there!). There is barista coffee available! Food was great in the buffet and restaurants - we are vegetarian and always had choices. One criticism would be the fake grass in the play area by the small pool - great idea to have the area with the wooden huts, but the turf got searing hot in the sun (and this wasn't even a super hot day). Dangerous for children and real grass would be so much nicer anyway. These are all minor issues though and overall it was a brilliant stay. The included hire of Mini countryman is great too, including packed lunch option. Bike hire also great with helmets for kids and seats. Reception also helped us when we missed our transfer to airport and sorted a taxi immediately. It felt very safe with a lovely atmosphere. We would love to visit again and try other Ikos resorts.
