Ikos Andalusia

Just returned from our sixth holiday at Ikos Andalusia and it never disappoints us.We stayed in a deluxe sea view room and it was worth the extra we paid. All the restaurants are fantastic with great food and service. Many thanks to our favourite sommelier Athanasia who provided our favourite wine and champagne every night- a special friend. Also a big shout out to Darko for his excellent hospitality at Flavors and Chiringuito along with Juan and all his staff - we love him a friend for six years. Eva who runs Seasons restaurant always greets you with a smile and has a great team working there especially Kevin, Christian , Christina and Johan and all the chefs. Provence is one of our favourite restaurants also run by the lovely Natalia and Sonia - two great nights there. Many thanks to the deluxe team for all their help and the staff around the deluxe pool especially Erica , Dora and Josh and everyone whose name escapes us.We visited the Spa which was a fantastic experience also. My husband and I have just returned from our seventh visit to Ikos Andalusia, and once again, we were reminded exactly why we keep coming back to this very special place. We always choose a Deluxe Seafront View One Bedroom Suite. After seven visits, you might think the magic would begin to fade, but quite the opposite! Ikos Andalusia continues to hold a very special place in our hearts, and every time we return, which is twice a year, it feels like coming home. The resort itself is beautiful, the food is wonderful, the surroundings are stunning, and the standards of service are consistently exceptional. However, what truly makes Ikos Andalusia stand out is its people. The warmth, kindness and genuine care shown by all the staff are what turn a lovely holiday into something truly memorable. This time we would particularly like to say a very special thank you to Matteo, who always goes above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful. His thoughtful gestures, lovely surprises and attention to the smallest details never go unnoticed. It is these personal touches that make such an enormous difference and turn an already fabulous holiday into something extra special and truly memorable. It is people like Matteo who make Ikos Andalusia so amazing and keeps us returning year after year. He is a real credit to the resort and we would really like to thank him for looking after us so well during our stay. There is something quite remarkable about a resort that can maintain such high standards and still make returning guests feel so valued and welcome. Seven visits later, we are still just as delighted with Ikos Andalusia as we were on our first visit, and we are already looking forward to returning again next year. Overall fantastic stay, but it should be at this advertised standard and price point. Rooms nice, food and drink lovely. Good entertainment programme etc. Beds comfy and TV featured multiple UK channels. Cocktail bar and products nice. Tried 5 different a-la-carte restaurants and all good, with lamb in French a highlight for me. Milkshakes and ice cream parlour also great. Attempted yoga, Pilates and aqua aerobics. Weather was beautiful albeit breeze and sea conditions rendered watersports largely unavailable several days. Several minor issues - patio door lock not operating on arrival (identified by staff member who took us to room, fixed 2 days later), power cut for several hours one afternoon (maybe not hotels fault, but apparently happened a couple of weeks ago also, and most restaurants rendered unable to serve food), and turn down service hit and miss in one of our rooms. We also had an alarm going off in or adjacent to block 5 at 0300 one night for a prolonged period. You shouldn't fail to enjoy, but flag where service slips.

A wonderful holiday first European trip with our little boy, 13month. He loved the crèche, especially Mercedes and Maria. And also the children’s swimming pools and splash pad were perfect. The deluxe are staff were brilliant also making the stay perfect, Manuel at the desk and on WhatsApp, Dora by the pool and Neyla, Adrian and Johan in the Seasons restaurant. The rooms were clean and well presented, and the facilities faultless. Worth every penny.

Our second visit and never fails to impress. Food, service, entertainment brilliant! Recommend the wine tasting with Athanasia Lamprou - sommelier. She was amazing and had recommended wines waiting for us at every evening meal. Expensive holiday but quality
