MS Amaragua

Hotel clean ,position ideal on the beach Most of the staff friendly and helpful particularly Louis who works in the bar area. Food disappointing we felt this hotel did not cater for the british palette. Poor choice for breakfast ratatouille served up at the breakfast area EVERY day.Tea time salads repetitive ,meat available but limited veg to go with it. Do not buy water at the table it is 3 and a half euros a bottle .Charged 6euros for half a piece of bread to dip in my Pil pil prawns unbelievable. Torremolinous is a popular resort for Brits yet you cannot get an English cup of tea in this hotel.Never had a problem on our holidays before. The hard bolster cushion and funny shaped square pillow not ideal for a good sleep. We had a couple of good entertainment evenings .El divo tribute amazing .Mario was also very good . Do not leave the dining room to go to your room ie if you have forgotten something as you wont be let back in eventhough the Staff on the door just checked you in . Do not usually write negative reviews on hotels but felt I needed to pass these comments. Janice .

Wow what a great holiday we had haven't got anything negative to say about this hotel , would recommend it too anyone who wants a holiday which you can feel so chilled and relaxed, sunbeds situation they have got sorted no one claiming beds for a day and then wondering off for hours which they do, No stress at the restaurant as you get taken too be seated and that's another tick on my list, staff polite, pleasant, hard working.got too say cleaner was lovely spoke every morning, also the young guy who brought are drinks too us around the pool is a busy person but he always had a smile and a nice chat with us. Best hotel keep up good work.

Lovely hotel in good location, room was spacious. Hotel was good value for what we paid. Not supposed to put towels on bed but people did. Breakfast was good if you like continental but bacon etc was not very hot.

Just returned from a great stay at the MS Amaraqua, I really only have good things to say about this hotel. Firstly it has a great position right on the beach front and only around a 15 min walk to reach Benalmádena marina. We booked a suite on the 6th floor and the room was spotless, the bed was super comfy and the views were fantastic. The staff are all brilliant, the cleaning team seem to work nonstop, the poolside bar staff are amazing and work nonstop to keep you hydrated🍻 There is a very good system in place so you unable to access the pool area and sun loungers until 9.00am giving everyone a chance to get a sunbed without the usual scrum. We did have one incident of noisy guests above us one evening and the brilliant customer service staff had this sorted in no time so a big thank you to them. Breakfast at the hotel works on a 1st or second sitting basis, you choose before or after 9 which works well, the breakfast itself is excellent, everything you would expect and great quality. We didn’t have evening meal so can’t comment. We had a great stay and we will visit again and can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
