This hotel is great for families we took great grand parents grandparents and children ages 9-10-11 and they all enjoyed the hotel free bus to market and Porto beaus was great so please don’t listen to negative fed back

Really disappointed with this hotel. Tui needs to rethink its rating and prices. As a large family with kids of a range of ages, the general safety of the hotel was very good, and they loved the water park. The entertainment was ok, although a bit late for the younger kids. Thats about as far as the positives go. Check in was supposed to be 3pm, but we couldn't have our room until gone 4pm. The cleanliness of the rooms was very poor...sheets and towels changed a few times in the week but no other cleaning was done. Mirrors, shower glass, sink and taps, floor, balcony all left untouched the whole week and room bins not emptied some days despite them overflowing. When we checked in, there were horrible stains on the walls as though something had been dripping down them, the shower was disgusting, the bedside drawers were full of popcorn and crisps, and there were tubs of mouldy ice cream in the fridge. The fridge itself was also filthy. We reported it to reception but they werent interested and just said theyd sort it. The pool area was dirty every morning, although we did see pool staff hosing down the floors a few times, there was always rubbish from the day before on the floor. The food was poor, and even the kids were refusing to eat it after only 2 days. Very little change from day to day in the main restaurant with food either being bland, processed or grey. The beach restaurant did offer 'theme' nights which offered some variation (Italian, Asian, Tex Mex) but on several occasions the heat lamps had broken and food was stone cold. Lucky they have a microwave right next to the buffet!! The all inclusive drinks offer was also poor...although you can get basics of rum, vodka, gin etc, the cocktails were chargeable. Soft drink machines rarely worked, often just spat out water where the syrups had run out. The beach isn't child friendly. Very rocky, and almost impossible to get into the water without good thick sole shoes. The sand is very dark which gets very hot, and theres lots of rubbish around. All in all this was not value for money and we've stayed in far better resorts with better standards for similar prices.

Can't check in till 3pm in your room. Food is same everyday. Usual sunbed wars, people claiming beds at 8am with towels even though they dont officially open until 10am. Ice creams for kids ie lolly,popular brands not part of all inclusive, only bland brands at the bar, again have to pay extra for over stuff. Hotel was clean enough, rooms ok, cleaned daily etc, but for the price , poor

Overall, it is a good place to stay for families with older children. Good food, good variety of pools and water slides. Bar service could be better at night.

There is a few cons but mostly pros but not enough to deduct a rating I am just back from my 10 night stay at globales playa estepona and I am definitely impressed. The location was quite but you had a bus stop (bus 79 is the bus for the area) outside the gates,a pharmacy,a take away,a irish bar 5 minutes away and people mentioned there being an aldi close enough so you had the basic things you needed . The food was OK your typical all inclusive food . Each evening they had a themed counter and the themes included fruit,waffles,cheese etc . In regards to Pools there was loads of choices the only ones i went to was the waterpark. The beach restraunt is good for a quick snack near the pool and each evening they have a themed night we went to the Italian (loved) and the tex-mex(not for me) . The tea and coffees in the restaurant are not nice but you could bring your own teabags/coffee powder and fill with hot water or get it from the bar as its nicer there . For the rooms they were really clean i have to say and they had great air-con!! We also took the photos by the photographers our pics were taken by Diana. Now the one thing that probably was the weakest point was the all inclusive, it didn't include branded and scoops of ice-creams and only included basic or house drinks for me it was more full board or full board plus but there was still a decent amount of drinks included. I think its a very convenient place for going places eg Gibraltar and estepona (we took the tui trip to estepona if your interested in going then talk to the reps ) also I want to mention the on-site shop thw sovieners were robbing but the food was much the same price. On top of the beach restraunt theres more loungers/big sunbeds there very relaxing we went there for a lot of the pool days and i say its better than the main lounger area . I enjoyed my holiday and the area is excellent 😁✈️🌴🌺
