Not totally satisfied but good overall food was ok to good for 3 stars pool was good though very busy at times entertainment day and animation team 5 stars absolute heroes of this hotel surroundings 5 star kept clean staff overall excellent bar staff reception pretty much top notch evening entertainment hit and miss some good some bad did enjoy divo . Room upgraded to deluxe view amazing beds good .Air con like others poor . Now the bad bits Drinks tokens cause massive cues at times not enough toilets. snack bar poor .But main reason of negativity is surrounding area .If wasn't for good service we received would of left after 2 days resort is terrible but thanks to cortjita it was a good holiday overall and yes we would go back but for a shorter stay

What a beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, spotless, lovely food, great entertainment and great location. I almost don’t want to tell everyone. Lots of different nationalities too which is always better. Easy transport links and close to beach too. Shingle, but not far to sandy beach and I walked to Puerto Banus in 40 mins. We will be back very soon.

We stayed at Cortijo blanco as a family of 5 in early August. As a last minute choice for us we were slightly nervous- no need! The hotel is 3 star and does this well. The rooms are basic- especially the standard rooms we stayed in. They were clean and had everything we needed. Aircon was good- despite the hot August temperatures. The reception staff were really helpful, a minor issue was resolved within 2 hours so I cannot fault them. Food- standard all inclusive buffet but good choices most nights with fresh meat, salad and fruits, specials each night including a chocolate fountain one night which was a massive hit with the kids. There was also a Mexican night, Asian night with sushi, cheese night and seafood night. Snack bar had your standard burgers, hot dogs and chips. Drinks soft drinks on tap throughout the day so you can help yourself as well as water. Cocktails are extra but we didn’t bother as good range of drinks otherwise. They even made the kids a mocktail for us. There’s a bar at the other side of the hotel which serves drinks in glasses- we found it on the second last night. Quieter than the other main bar and great for a relaxing drink. Animation staff- honestly some of the best, friendly and work hard. There was always something for the kids to do. Overall we were really impressed with this hotel.

We’ve just returned from a week at Cortijo Blanco and overall had a really good time, though there were definitely a few mixed moments. The good stuff: The beds were genuinely comfy, and the cleanliness across the whole hotel — rooms and public areas — was excellent. The staff work incredibly hard and it shows. The pools were large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds, which made relaxing really easy. Entertainment was generally enjoyable. The animation team’s Greatest Show was a real highlight — full of energy and fun. Some other evenings were harder to enjoy simply because unless you’re right at the front, you can’t see much. The magician, for example, was basically invisible from where we sat. A special mention has to go to Salvatore, the hotel photographer. He’s talented, warm, and clearly hustles all day with a smile. Our photo shoot was so much fun and the pictures were stunning. The only downside is the pricing — we bought five beautiful photos but honestly wished we could have afforded the fifty we loved. The not‑so‑good: The restaurant has a bit of a canteen feel — noisy, busy, and not the most relaxing environment. Most days the food choice was good, but one day the options dipped and the pasta dish from the snack bar was cold. Drinks come in very small cups and glasses, which means constant refills and queues. Larger cups would genuinely help both guests and staff. The WiFi isn’t great, and the air con is more gentle than cold — fine, but not what you’d want in peak heat. Our balcony was a strange Juliette-style setup that slanted downwards, enclosed in iron bars, with a plastic chair wedged in. Not somewhere you’d sit and enjoy a drink. We also had ants in the room and bathroom all week. Not a few — everywhere. We ended up just accepting it, but it wasn’t ideal. Overall: We did have a lovely week, and there’s a lot to like about Cortijo Blanco. But between the restaurant atmosphere, the ants, the balcony setup, and a few practical niggles, we’re not sure we’d rush back. It was good — and enough — but probably a one‑time stay for us.

My husband and I had our first holiday away without our adult children, so we were really looking forward to some time to relax and enjoy ourselves — and overall, we had a lovely 11-day stay. The hotel has two pools, which was a great setup. One was much more relaxing, while the other had the entertainment and a livelier atmosphere. We only joined in with the entertainment on two days during our stay, but the entertainment team work incredibly hard and definitely deserve a mention. I even managed to win the crazy golf! 😂 Most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special mention to the lady on security, who was always so friendly, and also the maid who cleaned our room — both were lovely. I’m a very fussy eater, so I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to eat at the hotel restaurant every day. The restaurant could get quite busy and noisy at times, and one thing I did notice was that the underneath of the plates sometimes felt quite dirty. I deliberately didn’t look too closely as I know it would probably have put me off eating! 😂 We booked the cheapest room option and, to be honest, it was perfectly adequate for us. It was clean and, being away from the entertainment area, it was lovely and quiet. This suited us well, even though we usually stayed out until the end of the entertainment anyway. We noticed that lots of guests return to this hotel time and time again, which says a lot. Would we come back? Possibly — we certainly wouldn’t rule it out. For us, it was a good first holiday without the adult children, with plenty of opportunities to relax, have a laugh and enjoy the sunshine. We’re off to Corfu in September, so we won’t be back this year, but never say never! 😊
