Alua Boccaccio

After reading the reviews online, I was really looking forward to our holiday - unfortunately we did not have a positive experience, and this is not a 4 star hotel. The hotel reception is pleasant and the food is as expected at an all inclusive, but these are the only positives. The rooms are very small and dated. The wallpaper was covered in brown stains. The shower tray was cheap. The air con is awful. Barely works and when it does work it leaks. When reported to reception they sent an engineer who fixes in temporarily - no apology for the inconvenience when the room is boiling hot at 3am so you cannot sleep. Tried to call down to reception but like everything in the room - it did not work. The fridge did not work, and me and my partner have stayed in hostels with better rooms. The pool is very small and over crowded especially when water polo is on and the hotel has frequent power cuts. The drinks were watered down and they operate a token system which is fine when you understand it. Water bottles in the room are not replaced and you cannot fill you water bottle from the water machines due to ‘health reasons’. Overall I am disappointed with my stay and would not recommend - whilst staff are pleasant they were dismissive when issues were raised rather than taking any accountability. There are lots of nice hotels in the area - so I wouldn’t recommend this one.

The schedule of hotel activities was inconsistent—unless you stay at the hotel the whole time, it’s hard to keep up because it’s unclear what is happening and when. As for the food, it was okay—plenty of variety, though nothing special. The service was 10/10, as was the access to the beach and the beach bar. If I were to return to Mallorca, I would certainly consider this hotel again.

The hotel was very welcoming, and the food was excellent. It was very close to a beautiful beach, and a big plus was the all-inclusive beach bar. Unfortunately, the swimming pool and the room were very small. The room was also not well soundproofed, so we could hear everything that was happening . Also the evening entertainment was great 😊

Hotel staff is super nice and helpfull, restaurant is top - local kitchen as well as other stuff, hotel is clean, modern, very nice looking, great and friendly atmosphere, everything worked. I recomend 'all inclusive' coz of all the benefits you get. Beach is 5 minutes walk, pretty clean, sand is not too hot, you can walk bare foot on it. The sea is just the perfect, very clean and not overcrowded - as the beach sometimes is. Everything is organized very well. Awesome trips around all the Mallorca. In the end some minor details here and there of course, but overall experience is great. I would rate the hotel 9.7/10 Restaurant and bars 10/10 Hotel stuff 10/10 Rooms 8/10 Beach and sea 9.5/10 Activities inside hotel and pool 6.5/10 Trips and Mallorca overall 11/10 Thank you for great time!

Lovely hotel, very very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was slightly small but really what you needed. Wardrobe Hanging was very poor, couldn’t even hang a mini dress without the bottom of it creasing. A long wardrobe would be a great addition. The coffee was disappointing which was a little niggle. The beach bar was a bit of an after thought and tucked away, and the staff there didn’t seem so friendly, but that’s only my opinion. The food there was very limited for lunch, but it was fine. Overall we had a great holiday and would recommend a stay at the hotel.
