Alua Boccaccio

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Alcudia and would definitely recommend it. The location is great, being close to the beach and within walking distance of local shops. The all-inclusive food and drinks were also really nice, with a big variety of options to choose from, so there was always something different available. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. It did seem like there weren’t actually that many staff working at times, but the service we received was still excellent (particularly the bar staff Victor & Lamuma, I think that was their names). The entertainment at the hotel was also enjoyable and there was plenty to keep you occupied during your stay. The rooms are modern and the bathrooms are a good size, with great water pressure, which is actually quite hard to come across in hotels! The only downside is that the bedrooms are quite small, and you can hear the people in the rooms next door. This didn’t bother us too much, and if you’re a deep sleeper, it probably wouldn’t be an issue. There are a few small things that could be improved. All-inclusive guests aren’t given straws with their drinks, whereas if you pay for a drink, you are given one. We also found that some of the food could be cold, although there is a microwave available to heat it up. Unfortunately, this is only switched on during dinner time. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a really good 4-star hotel, offers good value for money, and we really enjoyed our stay. The friendly staff, great location, entertainment and variety of food and drinks made it a lovely holiday.

Excellent hotel location with the beach only 5 minutes walk away. Also good transport links, with a bus stop directly outside the hotel. Entertainment was very good, especially the singers who provided a good show. We had no complaints with the food with plenty of choice in the buffet restaurant. Drinks were not always branded (local served instead), which is a surprise for a 4 star hotel. Cleanliness of the hotel was good overall, however, the bedroom and bathroom, not so good. Bathroom shower was dirty, marks on the floors and walls, dust on the sides and floor and I believe they use the same water to mop all floors of all bedrooms. Carpet in the hallways are dirty and very often covered in bits. Toilet paper was not replenished when low. I’ve been in 3 star hotels that are cleaner.

Our stay at Alua Boccaccio was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. We had an amazing holiday and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The hotel, the atmosphere and the whole experience were fantastic. We left with so many beautiful memories and would definitely love to come back. Thank you for making our holiday so special!

This is our 3rd stay in 14months at this amazing hotel. From the moment we arrived the customer service from the staff was outstanding. We requested a specific view for our room and was not disappointed as the hotel managed to fulfill this. The reception staff were so helpful and always attentive and friendly. Room was always spotless and plenty big enough for our needs. The restaurant always had plenty of variety during breakfast lunch and evening meal and you can even have Cava at breakfast which is a bonus. Beautiful to sit outside with the lake view, feeding the fish while eating breakfast. The restaurant is such a welcoming, chilled and relaxed enviroment with amazing staff that cannot do enought for you. Pool area is spotless and consistently maintained. Love the cup token system as it means nobody leaves thousands of cups next to sunbeds. A special mention for Mama at the pool bar, his smile is infectious what a lovely, friendly man and I really hope he is still there when we return next year. Entertainment Wow improvement from last year the circus show was fabulous. Always live the Karoke and my partner is normally the one to kick it off when everyone is nervous. What to day about Davide he literally is the life and soul of Alua Boccaccio. His energy and passion is infectious. He works so hard to make everybody's holiday extra special. We love his mojito and sangria workshops. Keep doing what you do Davide as your bring Joy to everyone. The beach bar is a little added bonus for beach days. So excited to return in 2027, alua boccaccio is certainly our special place. Thank you to all the team and see you next year.❤️

We booked this stay through Funjet who understood that we were looking for a 4-5 star experience. The only appeal of this hotel is that it is close to the beach. For that convenience you get a tiny and I will emphasize TINY room, with a scent of sewage that goes from mild - 'what's that smell', to strong - 'it smells like poo' in the room. The walls are quite thin, everything looks old and worn down, the pool is overcrowded with a reservoir of still water behind it with a layer of gross foam that might be part of the reason for the smell. We left within a couple hours of checking in.
