Small room. Poolside very loud all day with music and activities from the entertainment team. Hotel was very clean. Quality of food in the buffet was poor. Small room. No tea or coffee making facilities.

The Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In My wife and I spent our holiday at Alua Boccaccio, and unfortunately, this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, especially considering the price. I honestly cannot understand how this hotel has a 4-star rating. In my opinion, even 2 stars would be generous. Rooms – 3/10 The rooms are extremely small and cramped, with barely enough space to move around. If you’re travelling as a couple and expecting a proper double bed, don’t. Every room has two separate single beds pushed together instead of a real double bed. To make things even worse, the beds are on wheels, so they constantly slide apart. Every single night we ended up sleeping separately with a large gap between us because the beds kept moving. For a couple, this is completely unacceptable. In five years of travelling, this is the first hotel where I’ve experienced something like this. There are also no bathrobes and no disposable slippers, which was another surprise for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. Food – 1/10 The food was by far the biggest disappointment. It was the worst food I have ever had in any hotel. Breakfast was exactly the same every single day. Every other day they changed only two or three dishes, and that was the only difference. The selection was extremely limited, repetitive, and lacked quality. Unfortunately, my wife also suffered food poisoning during our stay, making our holiday even worse. Staff – 2/10 The staff were neither friendly nor welcoming. During our entire stay, the reception staff never greeted us once. I also overheard several other guests complaining about the staff. The only people who were consistently polite and greeted us every day were the housekeeping staff. Bars & Drinks – 2/10 The drinks are of very poor quality. The beach bar is disappointing, but the pool bar is even worse. Wi-Fi – 1/10 The Wi-Fi is terrible. I had connection problems every single day. Honestly, I’ve had better internet in the mountains than in this hotel. Entertainment – 2/10 The entertainment is extremely boring. There was nothing enjoyable or memorable during our stay. Location The only real positive about this hotel is its location. The beach is around a 4–5 minute walk away. Overall Every single day I regretted choosing this hotel. This has been the worst hotel experience of my life. If you don’t want to ruin your holiday, choose literally any other hotel. In my opinion, this hotel deserves no more than 2 stars. I will never come back and absolutely cannot recommend it.

After reading the reviews online, I was really looking forward to our holiday - unfortunately we did not have a positive experience, and this is not a 4 star hotel. The hotel reception is pleasant and the food is as expected at an all inclusive, but these are the only positives. The rooms are very small and dated. The wallpaper was covered in brown stains. The shower tray was cheap. The air con is awful. Barely works and when it does work it leaks. When reported to reception they sent an engineer who fixes in temporarily - no apology for the inconvenience when the room is boiling hot at 3am so you cannot sleep. Tried to call down to reception but like everything in the room - it did not work. The fridge did not work, and me and my partner have stayed in hostels with better rooms. The pool is very small and over crowded especially when water polo is on and the hotel has frequent power cuts. The drinks were watered down and they operate a token system which is fine when you understand it. Water bottles in the room are not replaced and you cannot fill you water bottle from the water machines due to ‘health reasons’. Overall I am disappointed with my stay and would not recommend - whilst staff are pleasant they were dismissive when issues were raised rather than taking any accountability. There are lots of nice hotels in the area - so I wouldn’t recommend this one.

The schedule of hotel activities was inconsistent—unless you stay at the hotel the whole time, it’s hard to keep up because it’s unclear what is happening and when. As for the food, it was okay—plenty of variety, though nothing special. The service was 10/10, as was the access to the beach and the beach bar. If I were to return to Mallorca, I would certainly consider this hotel again.
