Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort

Let me start with what we were not happy with, Cleanliness around the pool, I complained several times about food stuffs on the floor from the day before, and the grime around the pool edge we were there 2 weeks and it was never cleaned. Missing or broken floor tiles on our balcony and around the pool. We went first week of school holidays and it was already looking very tired 😫. Not all was bad the food was OK and plenty of choice and loved the theam nights they did, staff were really friendly as well. The animation team made our holiday they were amazing 👏 🤩 activities were varied and fun, kids club great, and the shows they put on were excellent so a big thank you to all the staff who worked hard.

Have lunch with a view of the sea, delicious food, 2 beaches in 5 and 10 minutes walk, I didn't even want to go anywhere, clear sea, clean beach

The hotel was very disappointing overall. I found the staff to be unfriendly and impatient. The food was poor, lacked flavour and was very repetitive. The cocktails were overly sweet and tasted strongly of artificial colouring. The burgers served during snack time were awful. Many were burnt on the outside while still raw on the inside, making them unpleasant and unacceptable to eat. The chips were either extremely greasy or undercooked. The overall quality of the snack food was very poor and far below what I would expect from an all-inclusive hotel. There was very little entertainment during the day. The swimming pool towel policy and towel exchange system were very poor, especially considering the price paid for an all-inclusive holiday. I also did not find the hotel to be as family-friendly as it claims to be. The lifts were extremely slow, making it very stressful for families with babies and for wheelchair users. The room cleaning was below expectations, and both the room toilets and the public toilets throughout the hotel had a very unpleasant smell, like a mixture of sewage and urine. Mealtimes were another source of frustration, with very long queues just to find a table. There were also far too few sunbeds around the pool. The only really positive aspect of the hotel was the stunning sea view and the relaxing sound of the waves. However, even accessing the beach was unnecessarily difficult, and the hotel did not provide any shuttle or transport service to make it easier, unlike many other all-inclusive resorts. I also do not recommend booking excursions through the hotel, as they are extremely overpriced. The massage services were also ridiculously expensive for what was offered. Overall, I do not believe this hotel offers good value for the price paid. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here.

If you can, definitely upgrade to my premium club - it’s totally worth it and enhances the whole experience. Views from the rooms are to die for.

Arrived on 25 july just a amazing place amazing location amazing staff my two boys loved every minute ofvthis holiday and didn't want to come home all staff fantastic food was great different theme nights we will be back thank you
