Alua Calvia (ex. Dreams Calvia Mallorca)

Was a lot quieter than expected, you can slightly hear music at night coming from the strip however it cam be blocked out by closing the door, the location is excellent with easy access to public transport. All services provided were great no problems there, was as expected.

The hotel left us with mixed impressions. The dinner was a definite highlight: the food was fresh, of good quality, and there was a wide variety of options available. Unfortunately, we experienced significant issues with cleanliness. The hallways and our room were cleaned to a very poor standard throughout our stay. By the third or fourth night, we were regularly finding ants in the room, even though we did not eat there. One evening, I also encountered a cockroach, which was the point when I finally went to the reception desk to file a complaint. In addition, sand was not properly vacuumed, and it seemed that the room was rarely, if ever, mopped. As a result, our overall comfort was greatly affected, and we were disappointed by the level of cleanliness. It is a shame, because the quality of the food and dining experience had the potential to leave us with a much more positive overall impression.

Fantastic stay here with my daughter who is coeliac, was a bit worried coming as saw no gf reviews but Antonio at the restaurant clearly explained every night what she could/couldn’t have and we had no issues at all. Also big thanks to Rudy who led an exceptional animation team entertainments and great shows nightly. Paid for a sea view upgrade on check in as was given a disabled room in the sky building with not the best view and funny smell, so well worth the small upgrade fee. Short walk to lovely beach and shops and bars etc Only downside was Malibu was not on the all inclusive, not even a knock off coconut rum or aperol spritz!! But I coped ok with Pina Coladas and Bellinis! 😝

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a great location. Check-in was super easy. As we had booked My Favourite Club, we were taken straight there for check-in, where everything was clearly explained, including all the benefits and perks that came with the upgrade. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was spotless, and our room (2615) was amazing. It was very clean, comfortable, and had stunning views overlooking both the pool and the sea. We were also welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine, and the minibar in the room was a lovely touch. The entertainment was excellent, and the animation team did a fantastic job keeping guests engaged and entertained. The food was also very good, with plenty of choice available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring there was something for everyone. All three pools were immaculate and well-maintained, with plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day. The all-inclusive drinks selection was good too. The only minor issue during our stay was that drinks were limited to one per person. As a couple, this was sometimes a little inconvenient and led to longer queue times at the bars. However, we understood this was due to an incident that had occurred on a previous night and was put in place for a reason. Overall, we had an amazing holiday. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the facilities are excellent, and the staff work incredibly hard to ensure guests have a great experience. We would happily return in the future.

Overall I’d give the hotel a solid 9/10! The hotel itself was clean, modern, and in a good location it was close enough to everything without feeling like you were spending all your money on cabs and or hiking to find the nearest shop The food was surprisingly decent for an all-inclusive (which is always a gamble), with enough choice that I didn’t end up surviving purely on chips and regret! Staff were friendly and always took the time to say hi and have a conversation with us The Pool areas were nice, the rooms were great and the atmosphere was spot on. Only reason it’s not a 10/10 is the usual holiday stuff! Overall, im happy enough that im going back this year! Great hotel, great vibes, and my liver is still recovering
