Alua Calvia (ex. Dreams Calvia Mallorca)

The all-inclusive terms changed during our stay, with the explanation that groups consume too much. We were not allowed to take 1 beer, 1 sparkling wine, and 2 waters for my family of five. While speaking with the manager, he stated that if we are not satisfied, he can offer us an early check-out from the prepaid stay, even though we are traveling with a 2-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a 10-year-old child.

Great hotel, amazing buffet! We had a seaview balcony with views right across Palma. We only had to cross over the road and go down a small path to the first beach. Magaluf was a 5 min walk & Palma Nova 15 mins along the sandy beaches. There is a bus stop just 5 mins walk away with regular buses into Palma and surrounding areas. The buses are tap on/ tap off and cost around £3 for the journey. Very cheap! The hotel was clean and welcoming with friendly, helpful staff. Location is spot on for all of Palma!

Sadly didn’t live up to our expectations do not upgrade to the Palm none of the extra perks promised are operating due to being taken over, food and drinks very poor quality and hotel is in need of repair in places. Wine at meal times is awful from a machine which everyone seems to helping themselves to no wine glasses just a “pop” glass . I’m sure there’s much nicer hotels around the area .
