
I recently stayed at the AluaSoul Carolina in Majorca and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We booked a 5-night stay on a half-board basis, and from the start there was a clear lack of communication and organisation. On our first evening, no one explained how drinks worked with dinner. We tried to ask staff but were ignored due to language barriers. After seeing other guests using a drinks machine, we assumed this was correct, only to then be approached by a waitress who spoke to us aggressively in Spanish, leaving us feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. If looks could kill we would have been dead. Everytime we saw her after that she was scowling at us in a very angry way. This set the tone for the rest of the stay. On multiple nights, we were left sitting for long periods without being served drinks. On one occasion, our drinks didn’t arrive until after we had finished eating. Another evening there was no water available and no staff came to assist. I even ended up choking while eating due to not having a drink, which was both frightening and humiliating. The staff generally seemed disinterested and unhelpful, particularly if you were not all-inclusive. There was also a clear communication issue throughout the hotel, making even simple requests difficult. Our final day was particularly stressful. We had to check out at 12pm but were not being collected until the evening. Despite asking for several days, we were refused a late checkout with no explanation. I was travelling with my 23-year-old autistic daughter, and having access to the room for her to decompress was important, but this was not taken into consideration at all. We were left without a room for around 7 hours in a very secluded location with limited facilities. We were also unable to have breakfast on our final day and were told we could not even pay for it as it had not been booked the night before. In the end, we had to take a taxi to the nearest town just to find somewhere to eat and pass the time. Overall, this was not a relaxing holiday. The lack of communication, poor service, and unhelpful staff had a significant negative impact on our stay. We paid a lot of money for this trip and did not feel valued as guests. I would not return, and unfortunately would not recommend this hotel if you’re British as they won’t be able to communicate with you they seem to be only fluent in Spanish German or french they’re not to pleasant to the British guests. Half board customers get no service it seems to be the my favourite and the all inclusive who were treated with respect. To be honest it’s put me off travelling to Spain again. I’ve visited Turkey countless times in my life and have never had this experience and level of disrespect. I felt like a second class citizen my whole holiday was ruined as I had to tiptoe around the waitress incase she became aggressive again. I am autistic and cannot deal with this kind of behaviour. I had a terrible time and won’t be returning. The only good thing about the hotel was the view.
Fantastic hotel amazing views with the beach just steps away with beautiful clear water ! The food was incredible with different themes each night we stayed in a my favourite room so had the luxury of our own fridge topped up daily! So good already booked to be back in July 2026 !
Just perfect couldn't fault a single thing 👍 the hotel cleanliness. The hotel location views the staff all just brilliant and all around. Fantastic holiday
Just came back from this hotel after staying 4 days over bank holiday weekend, the transfer from airport was atrocious over 2 hours long, but was happy with hotel when we arrived, reception staff was lovely and welcoming and hotel very spotless, bright modern vibe. The room itself felt small the bed was very wide and comfy and view from big balcony on 7th floor was awesome to wake up to. The pool was just small n round nothing special theres a snack bar there which was ok I guess the cocktails I thought really nice and strong not to sweet with syrups the food was big let down nothing exciting so u felt was pickin at the bits u thought ud enjoy but u dont expect to pay all inclusive n eat the bread n butter every meal haha , the staff was lovely on bars but was a few who needed to get a different job they looked so miserable like crack a smile its very easy they never put themselves out for you even though thats what there job role is . The thing i liked about hotel was the guests really mixed in and super friendly and ghe entertainment acts i saw was really good
Absolutely amazing hotel with views to die for food is amazing something different every day you could sit by the pool or go and dip your toes in the sea. It was clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend this for couples.
